Parsons traded to the Pack...
Damn it
4 year 188 million dollar contract. Curious to hear what the trade compensation was. Has to be at least two 1st round picks
He's good but let's see what they gave up in picks, on top of all the money.
I love it when high-priced talent bleeds the cap space. It can only hurt them big picture.
$47M per year for Parsons and $55 per year for Love. If I were guessing, I'd say Packers gave (2) 1st round draft picks that can fill holes relatively inexpensively. We'll see how this plays out in Titletown.

I have no idea how they can put a legit team together with that set up. And no first round pick for each of the next 2 years. If it was Kwesi fine we would find UDFA's LOL, but here it just doesn't logically make any sense even though he is a good player. You trade away Kenny Clark too.

Listen, if you want to tell yourselves some fairytales, I can't stop you but this elevates Green Bay to NFC Superbowl level elite. Trust me, I wish I could say differently.
The division is going to be a bloodbath this year. It already was, now add Parsobs to the mix...damn
Wow...Im surprised Dallas moved him.
I'm sure they're hoping it bumps em past Detroit on the pecking order.
Young, ascending player - all the things I hate optically in GB. Losing Clark hurts though.
This is another reason why we had to upgrade the OL.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

I didn’t know there was an NFC Super Bowl. They were a conference championship contender to begin with. This may inch them up slightly In the odds this year. Clark was a Pro Bowler and that’s not nothing. We’re above everybody if McCarthy plays at a high level.

I'm not quite there yet Sticky...
Reason being Parsons didnt elevate Dallas to that level and Love imo is not at Prescott level yet?
That said, big move by GB and it will help in the w/l column no doubt.

Yep you trade 1 probowler for another probowler - pay said player a ton of money and lose picks. How much doe Parsons over Clark truly move the needle?
Just another reason to hate Dallas...

They gave up a premium player and 2x 1sts. Then gave a massive contract.
This isn’t near as bad as it sounds. Parsons was a huge medical coming out of college. I didn’t want us picking him because of it.
Let the packers fafo.
Super top heavy in cap going forward. Color me not worried.
We will have more sacks than the packers this year. And without Clark, we will run on them too. It’s a good win now move for the pack, but they gave up way to much.
Finally, Jordan Love is not that good.

It will in the eyes of the media, who for some crazy reason, had the Packers as a contender. They weren't. But they might be now. No, this is not good. The North was frustratingly strong before. Now it's even stronger.
Clark is going to be 30 this year and played all 17 games last season to the tune of 1 whopping sack. I'm surprised they didn't ask for Wyatt, Walker or some combo with Van Ness

Perhaps Sticky, but in no universe is Parsons a Reggie White or Lawrence Taylor. I remember when the Bears gave away the farm for Khalil Mack and how did that turn out? The cap hit will be huge going forward and losing two first round picks is a killer too. Also do NOT underestimate what Kenny Clark did for the interior of that Defensive Line. I have no illusions Parsons will be a thorn in the Vikings side, just not sure trading 2 first rounders and a Pro Bowl DT along with the $47 mil cap hit is worth it?
Cue our resident Packer troll in 3....2....1....
