2025 NFL Free Agency and Draft: DT
Like corner, this draft class appears to have good value in the late 1st for DTs. And the thing I've noticed that is unusual about this class is how many BIG guys there are this year, with 5 of the top 8 on one board all weighing in over 320 lbs. That is rare.
Could see 4-6 DT's solidifying first round grades or elevating into first round next week at @seniorbowl.#TheDraftStartsInMOBILE™️ https://t.co/Lp12Z16QiM

.@OleMissFB @WalterNolen4 is ready for duty. Build your defense strong up the middle with men like Nolen. #nfldraft #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/uGE4YSJJgo

fun football player!
iDL who can bend, turn the corner and leverage like this go straight to my heart ♥️ pic.twitter.com/xRU6RYOjCl
I’ve seen exactly 1 report that he’s got a chronic (not that) issue with his right knee. The 17 snaps a game might be confirmation or just a really deep rotation.

Nolen really is a boom or bust pick: on his game, he has shades of Aaron Donald.
Overview
Nolen has NFL-starting size but won’t blow you away with his physical traits. However, he gains quick advantages with his explosiveness into contact and ability to beat up blockers when singled up. He has the athletic talent to play into gaps but needs to play with better hands to keep himself clean at the point of attack. He wins as a rusher with his athleticism and play strength, and doesn’t need to be schemed for. The pass rush still requires refinement, but he already flashes quick-win moves that foreshadow good pressure and sack production as a pro. Nolen’s blend of explosiveness and playmaking talent create high upside as a three-down interior lineman.
Omarr Norman-Lott is one of the best DTs in the draft that no one is talking about👀 pic.twitter.com/hcjbQQlyTW

He is such a damn good prospect. I really worry about him not being there at #24. Chris Jones, Kevin Williams, and I'll go with Richard Seymour.
Will be a fan wherever JJ Pegues goes. One of my favorite CFB players last year pic.twitter.com/0PMVm7WqeT

Pegues would be a fun player to watch. Speaking of noses, I'm really liking Tyleik Williams in the 2nd and Jamari Caldwell on day three.
If we don't take a Stewart, Nolen or Harmon in the 1st, a poor man's Shemar Stewart is Sai'vion Jones from LSU. Could fall to day three due to the glut of day-two DLs. He's 6-5.3, 283, 34 inch arms, 4.75 forty, 1.59 split, played edge for LSU but they moved him inside at the Senior Bowl and he played well there.
A potential day 2 pick to watch for, Sai’vion Jones (LSU)

6-5 283 lbs with 34 inch arms.
1.59 10 yard split is top top tier in this class and at that size is absurd.
These types guys don’t grow on trees anymore. Needs way more love. pic.twitter.com/RvX5FWslRO
Here's 8 plays of Walter Nolen vs. Georgia, who should have their entire IOL drafted within the first 100 picks, playing on the other side of the line of scrimmage, winning at the snap, and working down the LOS to finish plays.
