2025 NFL Free Agency and Draft: RB
I don't see the Vikings adding a running back in free agency. There's just not much out there. Even if we bring back one or both of Jones and Akers, I think the Vikings will take a RB with one of their first two picks. From this list, I love Jeanty and Henderson. Unimpressed by Skattebo and Neal. With the depth of this class, there's probably going to be good backs still on the board after the draft. One sleeper I like right now is Montrell Johnson, Jr out of Florida.

He catches the ball as well as any back in this draft, but he's really small. Likely just a 3rd down back, but could be a pretty good one.

Honestly, we really need other positions b4 a RB. I'd have to see how FA went b4 I'd be excited about a move-up for a RB.
I did dance a jig when we got AP - I think he was 6th overall that year.

An even faster Ty Chandler? Dylan Sampson is interesting. Probably the first back I watched in this class. He's getting lost in the jumble of a dozen day-two backs. I like him, but Renner saying he's RB2 seems a bit nuts.

As far as Renner goes, he might be getting cute here. I’m thinking outside the box. In no way is Sampson 2. Nope.

I don't think you could go wrong with either of the Buckeye backs. That goes for Jeanty and Hampton too. The only one I have questions about is Kaleb Johnson, but they're minor and it could just be me. I watched him right after Jeanty and that's unfair. I am still high on Neal and Harvey. For some reason Harvey seems to be slipping. I just hope we can get a trade back partner and take Judkins. You and I mirror the concern about Johnson. I wouldn't be happy if we took him
