How many times doesn't an offense on average throw against XR?

I think I remember Flacco throwing at him once in the end zone today..

Long ways to go with 9 games left.  I think we're going to need Sam or Teddy back and playing well to beat some of the good teams we have coming-up, along with that murderers row of a schedule.

D looks good (knock wood) but they'll be tested too with only 3 home games left this season. Good thing D travels well and it's what gives me hope to steals a win or 2 on enemy territory.

This team is going to have to pull-off some road wins to get my to buy in completely. But like my title says, 5/2 is nice, so enjoy it for what it is. Beats the hell out of 2/5.

  Remmers Righteous On Runs Right
Posted by: JustinTime18™ - 10-22-2017, 08:39 PM - Forum: The Longship - No Replies

Both tackles get credit, where credit is due, simply because of how much they fueled the offense in this one. Remmers was also responsible for just one lone hurry and cleared the way for multiple big runs. The Vikings averaged 9.1 yards per carry on eight runs that hit off the right edge.

The Ravens wouldn't have even been close if they had called a good game.

This kid is not a number two reciever he is a legitimate number one target and WR on this team.  With Diggs out you still see him getting open and catching everything against a very good Ravens defense.

Rams ahead 26-0 into the 4th. Garbage time stats after this. The media was especially slobbering with crowning Arizona last week, lol.

On their way to draft immortality, the 2018 QB draft class continues to shit the bed...

Oregon State senior QB Luke Falk completed 17-of-34 passes for 197 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-0 demolishing of Colorado on Saturday.
Falk also ran for 41 yards, as the 6-foot-4, 223-pound quarterback had all day to throw and took off when necessary. While the three touchdowns are great, this was not a strong game from the senior QB. Anytime he had to make a throw that wasn't the first read, he struggled with accuracy, and Colorado dropped multiple interceptions. Still, even in a "bad" game, there were moments of brilliance for the potential first-round pick. Falk and the Cougs get Arizona next.

Wyoming redshirt junior QB Josh Allen completed just 12-of-27 passes for 131 yards with a touchdown and two picks in a 24-14 loss to Boise State on Saturday.
Allen (6'5/233) was able to run for 61 yards with a one-yard touchdown as well. It's the third time this year the junior quarterback has failed to complete at least 50 percent of his passes. Yes, he's playing with a short deck compared to the other first-round candidates at the position, but there's no denying that Allen needs to be better with his accuracy, timing and decision-making. He gets a date with New Mexico next week.

USC redshirt sophomore QB Sam Darnold completed 20-of-28 passes for 229 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 49-14 loss to Notre Dame.
Not only did Darnold and the Trojans get blasted off the field, the future NFL-er sustained an ankle injury in the second half and sat out most of the fourth quarter due both to that concern and a lopsided score. We'll update Darnold's health as information becomes available. He's had his moments this season, but on the whole, it's been a tough campaign for the redshirt sophomore, particularly in terms of his decision-making.

UCLA junior QB Josh Rosen completed 20-of-34 passes for 214 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions in a 47-30 loss to Arizona on Saturday.
Simply put, this was an awful game for Rosen. He struggled with passes in every facet -- short, intermediate, long -- and on a day where UCLA (again) couldn't stop the run, his three turnovers doomed the Bruins. This loss not only makes it tougher for UCLA to win the Pac-12 South, it also could cause his draft stock to take a big hit. Rosen will try to get back on track next week against Oregon next week.

  About Waynes...

I have been a silent supporter of his and cant believe some of the negative things I read about him as a second corner. Just curious for those that aren't fans of his, how many other #2 corners from other teams would you rate better than him overall?

I cant seem to get past maybe 2 or 3 other #2's on other teams I would rather have than him. PFF has him as a terrible corner but they also have rhodes as like the #30 corner this year too. Doesn't hold any weight to me in this instance. His run stopping is top notch and his ball and cover skills have really improved from what I can see. Thoughts?
