Man, that's a ton of money dedicated to the D. Not that I'm complaining...it's our strongest unit with some major pieces that need to be locked up. Gonna be some tough decisions in the next couple years.

Seems like the Vikings want to lock up their key defensive pieces while 1) we have the cap space 2) before we have to re-sign potentially Barr, Waynes, Diggs, and Hunter in 2018/2019 so that the big cap hits happen now and next season and 3) before we have to pay Sam or Teddy next season.

Brez is getting a workout here...

I should also add...  Congrats to Linval!!!  Definitely deserve every penny he's earned.  I'm at Training Camp with my wife and kids and Linval is HUGE in person.  My God.  It would be a pretty even fight between him and The Mountain...

Linval is a beast.  If we can get anything from the 3T  next to him, our DL will be insane for years when Hunter gets his $$$.   Plus Griffen, Harry and Rhodes all locked in... We won't see the Frazier years D again for a looong time (hopefully never).
