Ex-Viking guard Steve Hutchinson finalist for Pro Football Hall of Fame

Anyway we can get a DNA sample from Hutch and get that cloning thing underway?  And while we're at it, Birk, McDaniel, Korey..... ;)

Good for Hutch.  Is it just me, or does everyone else think of the word "Poison Pill" when you hear Steve Hutchinson? ;)

Also (outside of Loadholt and McKinnie) one of the biggest men I have ever met. Lived in Medina for some time here in MN and I got to meet him more than once.

One mean hombre of a player, I can't imagine going up against him on the LOS. They did a lot for the community here too.

Jeff Diamond was recently interviewed locally here after the Vikings season mercifully ended. He talked about how they used high picks to acquire McDaniel, Steussie, Big K etc. That became the horse they road to 98 and 5/6 years of NFC Post-season play. 

Not to say there are guarantees drafting OL high is the way to build, but that was the best OL the Vikings ever had imo...
