I will say this.... I think they should ban the gloves. I was watching some high school kids practice the other day (I don't even think this was the varsity team) and the kids were snagging one handed grabs one after another like it was routine. That put into perspective some of the grabs these guys make.
I guess the NFL figures its better than using Stickum. But I see your point - and just how good would many receivers really be if they could not wear gloves?
the gloves have really evolved as well.. used to be just a glove. Now they are like glue.
If Lester Hayes played today... these would be his gloves...
