After one week of preseason football, I'm ready to make a prediction

There will be no successful on-side kicks this year. 
I mean, have you seen the effects of the changes to the kickoff rules?  Standing starts, no overloading, receiving team at the ready. 
It's going to take one tricky kicker or speedy recovery group to get away with one now.

Yeah that was actually the 1st thing I did think of. I guess maybe if someone receiving muffs one. It will be tougher no doubt. Maybe teach the kicker to drill the most unsure of the sure hands crew right in the chest then hope for a bounce. Who knows???

Good point. There will be several iffy leading with the helmet calls. 1 will cost a team an important game. I predict an apology letter after the outrage of the loss.

Yes, special teams coaches will have to get creative to warrant trying now.
