This was an excellent read. Brez has been doing this for 26 years, 20 of em with the Vikings. In total, Barr, Diggs and Hunter may represent his biggest challenge. And that's comparing to Hutchinson, Cousins, Peterson, Moss, Dirty Harry and JA among his notable contractual accomplishments...

I don't know if it real or not. However it is kinda obvious either way. Yes they want to lockup their young stars long term. I'd like to know if Chip knows anything more then that. Till then wishes and rumors are pretty much the same.

Is that the official Vikings twitter? Isn't it a little strange that the official Vikings twitter account is re-posting a media rumor about resigning him/them.

Seems like some, uh, "3D chess" to me. It feels like a negotiation tactic. They essentially confirmed their interest in resigning them without having to make an official statement on record.
