"The Vikings were an average football team last year, and it wouldn’t be surprising if that remains the same in 2017. "

No, the Vikings were a good football team last year who underperformed due to several injuries to key players, including their starting QB, their starting RB, their starting LT, their starting RT, and their #1 WR. Take those positions away from the Falcons and see how they do.

Having 10 out of 16 teams projected 9-7 or higher  and a total record of 133-123 suggests either PFF failed basic math, or they graded the AFC lower than the NBA Eastern Conference.  For that to happen the NFC will have to beat the AFC 37-27 in their interconference games.  With NE, Oakland, KC, and Pittsburgh? Not likely.

No way to know what we have in the 2017 Vikings because of that rebuilt offensive line. Worst run game in the league last season. We certainly are hopeful as fans that this team has some talent and will be a playoff contending for the division or a wildcard spot, but we've all seen how unpredictable a NFL season can be year to year. Lots of injuries last year that much of the media seems to be forgetting the further away from 2016 we get.

We should have still won 10 games, even after that shit show stretch after the 5-0 start, this team is better than 1 win over .500!

I think they're closer to reality with 9-7 but 10-6 is certainly in the realm.  More wins than that may require some rose tinting! ;)

One doesn't have to go back far to get close to these numbers.  In 2015, the AFC was 29-35 against the NFC with NE, Denver, KC, Pitt, Cin and NYJ (no playoffs) all with 10+ wins.
