Well….somebody is going to get him
The Indianapolis Colts now are open to trading star running back Jonathan Taylor, sources told @RapSheet and me. Multiple teams have reached out to Indianapolis, and those talks are said to be active and ongoing, according to sources. More on https://t.co/NcfwZLCjrb. pic.twitter.com/X2gYBnSFek

Sure. Still on the table for less than what CMC went for. Might need to idiot-proof the game planning.
There’s got to be a street RG better than Fries too.

No. Murray is the problem. They need to trade for a QB or at least give Wentz another look if they are going to bring in a RB or O-lineman. At this point, there is a real risk of losing Jefferson and ending up with no QB next year if they stick with Murray.

I agree but what QB is there to trade for? Would you trade for Herbert? Daniel Jones? Don’t think the Raiders are trading Kirk after today’s win. Only option imo is now roll with Wentz and still trade for a RB or another dynamic piece to add to the D.

Unfortunately, I think the ship for this season sailed the minute we traded JJM. He obviously wasn't great yet but he definitely had the most potential out of the QB room. Wentz is serviceable and probably better than Murray but he is what he is and I don't see him getting us far in the playoffs at this point in his career.

Give Kyler another week to see but otherwise I say fire up the Wentz Wagon.
I don’t fully buy the notion that he can’t be good or his ceiling isn’t high enough. I was told we just need Average QB Play. When he got in earlier this season, that’s what he gave us.

I don’t believe we can afford another week of Kyler. Problem is he hasn’t given the team at least average play. Buffalo is coming to town and the inept play of Murray is not going to match Buffalo. If the Vikes are looking for at least average QB play I have to think Wentz gives them at least that.
The discontent of the team and especially your best player is not going to bode well continuing with Kyler. The time to do something is now imo.

how did mccarthy and jefferson get along on the field. next.
Yes! Another underperforming veteran coming in to save the day!
(he probably would be an improvement, it's just so sad how time is a flat circle with this team)
Teams that miss out on Jonathan Taylor could shift their attention to Breece Hall from the #Jets, per @RapSheet. pic.twitter.com/GkDJLp9zSH

Why not ask if Geno is available?
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I wouldn't hate it, I still think that if you limp along for long enough, KOC will figure out some sort of workable plan for Kyler.
But I totally get the feeling that you trade a second for JT, get crushed in the first round of the playoffs and now have an aging JT on whatever his contract would be and yet another season without a QB. That feels kind of like a waste of resources.

I think we have been running to bottom of the barrell out there the last month or so.

So bring in yet ANOTHER QB? 10 QBs in four and a half seasons. As bad as Kyler's been, I think our best course of action is to stick with him. While I think a QB like Wentz or Cousins or Bubby Brister would give us an immediate boost, long term it would be fool’s gold and we’d regret it.
I think if we’re patient with Murray, the QB we see down the stretch will be a better QB than whatever immobile boomer we could turn to. In 2022, Doug Pederson took over the Jags offense and Lawrence struggled in it big time. He was horrible, worse than Murray's been for us so far. Second half of the season Lawrence was probably the best QB in the NFL. It happens.
