Well….somebody is going to get him
The Indianapolis Colts now are open to trading star running back Jonathan Taylor, sources told @RapSheet and me. Multiple teams have reached out to Indianapolis, and those talks are said to be active and ongoing, according to sources. More on https://t.co/NcfwZLCjrb. pic.twitter.com/X2gYBnSFek

I think the Colts need big comp for Taylor or they'll keep him. I do think teams are talking to Indy about him, that doesn't mean they'll move him. If he plays today, then we'll have more of an answer than the rumors IMO.

Don't tell that to New York, they are in first place in the NFC East. I think they are very much in on this season and Harbaugh said as much a week ago....I think JJM's play changed that to a large extent. They feel they can run a Jaxson Dart offense with JJ. For me, there's still a bunch to prove there but 4-2-1 isn't bad at all as it stands right now. 12th in offensive production and 7th best defense? Why wouldn't they be interested in improving that team right now in a very winnable division? LOTS of games to be played yet.
For sure. Just look at Harbaugh trying to get his "Sexy Dexy" back. Don't tell Harbaugh the Giants aren't a playoff team. He's clearly operating under a different set of expectations.
I don't think they'll be serious players in the Jonathan Taylor sweepstakes, but he's doing his due diligence, especially with Tracy going down. Can Cam Skattebo handle the workload, and Singletary is more of a depth piece at this point. I could definitely see them looking to add some RB help, but I still don't think Taylor is the answer they'll pursue.

Word. 👍
Doesn’t seem like something you would do with a higher end, tradable commodity, does it? 🤔

Playing him keeps the price up. But last week against us Jonathan Taylor got fewer snaps than any other game this season. Seth McGown had the most snaps he's ever had. I would expect that to continue today. It's important for the Colts to show that while they're open to trading him, they're not going to sit him on the bench with a big neon "Priced to Move!" sign around his neck.

I hear ya, but like PF posted.....that's a big gamble on a player you'll get the most comp for for the rebuild. A game of chicken per se.

Bestest thing that could happen for the Vikings today would be Jones or Mason having a big game...
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Quarterback has to be fixed before we go trading a bunch of picks away for another position.
Kirk Cousins to the Vikings is starting to make way more sense…

29 passes
18 runs
We abandoned what had worked during the 11 game win streak.

3rd and 4, late down 4, you throw a low % bomb. The smart call is roll Kyler out for an RPO. KOC doesn't know what he's doing a lot of the time. Then on 4th and 4 you just concede so your gassed defense can let them run in out? What, Kevin, did you not have another bomb to call there?
Seriously, if this great 2026 D gets wasted then KOC is the reason it got wasted. A decent offensive mind would have us scoring points and moving the ball.

I refuse to believe KO intended that play for Addison. Maybe but seems more on the QB to know that it’s not the time for a 40/60 ball to the sideline.

We've seen the bomb called on 3rd and manageable so many times over 5 years that I would refuse to believe it's anything but KOC.
I mean a good RB is great and everything but, it is the QB position. How many super bowls did we have with AP.
At this point I would be pissed if they trade for the rb.

Some of that is Murray running around and not being able to see down the field and throwing an uncatchable ball.

Yeah he hasn't been great, it's true. But we saw the possibilities in New Orleans if they run this the right way. I want to see the team run an offense tailored around his strengths not his weaknesses. He doesn't have to be all pro with the talent we have around him. I don't want to keep watching an offense that's basically Kevin O'Connell's constant strategic ineptitude.
The Vikings are in such a weird place. They're 6-1. But clearly hitched themselves to a QB who isn't good and if we're being honest, has never been good. Their best QB option is with the Giants. KOC not covering himself in glory, let's say. It's odd. https://t.co/AuDtnVrJZW

Anyone have any energy left for this kind of move?
Or too soon to ask?
