So, NFCCG At Minimum?

Hoping the offense comes around more. If that happens I’ll get a hell of a lot more bullish on em.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
We all know how this is going to play out.......we will 100% face the Giants in round 1 at the bank and JJ is going to cook our ass.
There needs to be a huge improvement in the QB play for us to be a serious contender. Right now, we are just not good enough at the position. After last week, I thought Murray was on his way, but I think we are seeing what he is which is really inconsistent with his throws and decision making. I am hopeful, but I would say right now we are a wild card team and not likely to win more than one playoff game.
I talk a lot of shit, but it’s almost impossible to start 6-0 and not make the playoffs without a catastrophic collapse.
That being said I think this team, as it stands, has a ceiling of Wild card team going on the road with a first round exit and the floor of a 7 win team that experienced the single biggest collapse in NFL history.

Hey Nawlins, good to see you posting.
I was on call on the golf course today ( good work if you can get it) but checked into the game thread today. (Sheesh, hide the razor blades!)
But I get it, the O is in fits and starts.
And lots of angst still on JJM/Vs K1.
JJM had 99 QB rating today
(Winston had 1 more TD than JjM, just sayin)
(Also, Texans D not nearly as impressive as last few yrs)
K1 had 91 QB rating today
VERY interesting yr thus far.
Vikes could be only undefeated team after Sea> KC tonight.
IMO, keep stacking W’s, however ugly.
make the playoffs run thru US Bank.

Hey bud, glad to be back. But I watched both games and id still say the Texans defense is better than the Colts and they were without Sauce.
JJ made eay better throws than Kyler made all season and two of his throws they were knocked out at the 1 or 2 and could have been easily 2 TDs.
It just sucks watching every offense look like a professional offense and our coach cant call plays to save his life

Jesus what a loser mentality.

How long have you been a vikings fan? Isn't this how it always works?
Seems every time a player makes their first against us they break a record or have a career day.

A long time. But I'm not really into the woe is us stuff. We have plenty to be excited about right now.
Thank you ^^^
Look, I like JJM, and didn't agree with the trade, BUT all "storylines" aside - if you line him up against our Defense, he's gonna get pummeled.
Vike fans have no control over who we play/when we play em.
Lots of reasons for optimism, lots of reasons to be skeptical.
Through Week 7 of the 2026 season, the cumulative regular season record of the Minnesota Vikings' opponents is 12-24 (.333). [1, 2]

Fair enough and I agree. We are 2/3 elite but we have to score points to win against teams.
Our opponents are 16-26 on the season and we have been anything but close to average and have squeaked out wins against most of them.
For reference, the next 6 teams we play are 25-14 and all average a few points more per game than us.
I'm less concerned with K1 than I am with whatever's happening with our OLine. For as much shit as Fries has gotten, I feel like both Darrisaw and O'Neill seem to be struggling more.
I think if our OLine squares things up a little better, the whole thing will look a lot better. Also, we can't really make a long term offense with long, mistake free drives. Once we get some more explosives going our offense the points will start to stack up.

The silver lining is, other than the 49ers and maybe the Jets, we don't face a team with a good defense the entire rest of the year. And the 49ers may have upwards of 30 guys on the injured list when we face them. It's kinda sad how bad so many teams are on that side of the ball. We have problems but that's not one of them.

We don’t have problems…right now.
It will be very interesting to see how real QBs fare against Flores’ defense. Remember, Love lit him up for 3 quarters and we caught Caleb in a monsoon. Other than that we’ve caught Baker, Willis, Shough, and Jones (hardly murderer’s row).
We assume that every QB will struggle against the defense because that’s pretty much all we’ve seen. However now we get Goff and Love on the road, Josh Allen and Brock Purdy in the next 4.
If an opposing team can put up 20 at this point, the Vikings aren’t winning. Asking the defense to hold 4 teams that average anywhere between 21-33 ppg to 18 or less is a TALL order.

I didn't say we don't have problems, I said we do, but defense isn't one of them.
Oh I know what you were saying. I’m just saying we don’t have problems with the defense “right now”.
I’ll be curious to see what that looks like after they face the next 4 QBs

JJ wasnt great today. Switched to that game after ours finished and they would hardly let him throw. RBs ran it down for the win.
He played well enough to win, but let's hold off crowning his ass
