How do you square JJ going thru 3 offseason cycles with all the coaching support needed around him and not showing improvement?

JJ's high school and college success allowed him to develop some bad habits And no one caught in the predraft process.

That he got injured, which happens, only made the situation worse.

I don't get how off season work can't lead to regular season on field improvement.

How is it that the only way he could improve was to start regular season games? Isn't the point of preseason , to get live in game reps?

When he pulled himself in the final PS game this year , it was a clarifying moment

That is not perspective, but an illusion and it means nothing. He had his chance here, three full off seasons, never showed any kind of improvement in his accuracy and continued to not listen to coaching. I highly doubt the any of the other guys on the list went up to the mic and disrespected their coach like did. His actions more than performance got him traded. He was never going to work out here and it was his own doing. I would not have made the trade for a 5th based on how awful Murray looked, but I don't blame the team for wanting to move on and very confident they have good reason that we are not privy to.

That doesn’t fit the narrative! We’ve already been told by the experts whose “eyes tell them everything” that he’s a terrible QB, isn’t a natural thrower, can’t lead, doesn’t know how to make a throw, can’t read a defense, can’t work through progressions, can’t make the easy throws, can’t put touch on the ball, etc.

And now you’re bringing up stats that don’t support the narrative that he’s immature, doesn’t take coaching, is always injured, and takes himself out of games? Come on! We can’t have facts getting in the way here. 😂

Besides, he’s someone else’s problem now, so we don't even have to worry about him proving the organization wrong. He probably won’t even beat out Mr. Interception himself, Jameis Winston, so obviously there’s nothing to see here.

I also believe football stats (probably) dont tell all the story of why he is no longer here.

Maybe even the more important causal elements, we may never know for sure. There is more to this jettison then a td griddy or a nein meme that will live in infamy.

I could post a bunch more data that supports any narrative anyone wants to hear tbh.

I wish him well and his family well too.
