This week's Practice Info

The Vikings held practice on Monday following their recent preseason action, with players and coaches focusing heavily on final evaluations. Head Coach Kevin O'Connell and the front office are working through crucial roster cutdowns as the team approaches the league's 53-man roster deadline.

Vikings practice just ended. J.J. McCarthy, who was banged up in Saturday’s preseason game, participated in practice. He did 3 reps of full team drills, a little less than normal, but the practice was in shells so it was hard to make any grand judgments about his conditions

With Theo Jackson injured and Harrison Smith -- not here -- UDFA S Jacob Thomas continued to get a lot of run with the first team. We also saw more of 3rd-round pick Jakobe Thomas, who hasn't done much in camp because of a back issue.
