Does DT Elijah Williams have a shot to get into a rotation?
Hard to say as I'm not sure how many defensive linemen they'll keep. Big Citrus and Banks obviously in, but that was an even swap with Hargrave and Allen leaving as far as body count goes. 6'3", 300 lbs. with some movement skills. Tenacious. Might see more snaps than you'd think as the rookies get their feet wet early in the year.

Oh I think so. The way it looks right now, Orange, Banks, LDR and Williams will likely be playing in a pretty even rotation with only Redmond being the constant.

to me it's between him and Loudermilk for #6, if he makes it he sees the field cause Flores loves putting fresh DL on the field

I think Williams has been one of the more impressive DL this pre season, along with TID. The rookies seem to have a way to go. I would have Williams in the rotation. The DL was more very good last year, so think it can only improve, but definitely a position of concern for now.
This was a Baldy Breakdown on Elijah Williams last preseason. This is two preseasons now where EW has flashed in limited opportunities. Redmond arrived on the scene in a similar way in 2024. He played so well as a rookie they gave him a couple of starts, then a full-time starting role in 2025. Probably shouldn't expect Williams to be the next Redmond, but there are a lot of similarities.
