THE #NFL DENIED #VIKINGS KICKER WILL REICHARD’S REQUEST TO REMOVE WEEK 5 MISSED KICK FROM STATS, SAYING THE BALL HITTING THE CAMERA WIRE WAS A “OPTICAL ILLUSION.”
😳😳😳
This is absolutely insane.

I love how Michaels took a shot at the NFL when they obviously made him "correct" himself on air about the ball hitting the wire.
Earlier in the game, Al Michaels mentioned that #Vikings K Will Reichard’s only missed FG this year was the one that hit a camera wire in London.

He now says the league told him to correct himself that it was an optical illusion.pic.twitter.com/b37MeCAF9m
I'm in the minority who think it was an optical illusion. We won't find out for sure until Earl Warren investigates and Oliver Stone turns it into a major motion picture. Back and to the left. Back and to the left.

This is what Viking fans can focus on now - some meaningless who gives a shit f.g. weeks ago while the team is burning down to ashes right now.
Censorship in near real time was my point. Trust me, I can find plenty of other things to bitch about regarding the team.

When I hear Michaels say "optical illusion" thing, I almost shut the tv off right there. How the NFL chose to deny Reichard's request to remove the kick from his stats is beyond absurd, but then to state it's an "optical illusion"? Come on...this is getting out of hand...
how is the wire bouncing an optical illusion? IIRC you can clearly see the wire bounce a bit after the hand of God pushed the kick away from the camera wire.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?
