You know what QBs are on 3rd & long against Minnesota this year? 1-for-18

Huge blown coverage on Addison. Vikes still have some life
Wentz has thrown for 327 at this writing...plus 2 TDs, 2 INTs.
JJ has 126, Addison has 114.
More statistical production, but...yeah....
KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....
The problem with this game is that people will have that glimmer of hope, it’s the NFL formula. Even if they pull a win out of their ass, they aren’t very good.
Wtf!? Delay of game after spiking the ball!? How? Why!?
This team drives me insane
...aaaaaand that's a wrap.
We gave away most of the game, and picked the worst times to look both hurt and playing with a backup QB.
The late surge was kinda gratifying, but losing to Rodgers always feels like a horror show.

cad é an fuck
I know its still early, but I cant shake the feeling:
"It's going to be one of those seasons"
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
2-2. Just going to need to tread water until we start to get some healthy bodies back

I just posted similar in the Howell thread...This team has to finally get healthy, frustrating to know there's untapped upside out there.
Least I thought so looking at the roster.

Next week against Cleveland is going to be huge since we have our bye week after that and hopefully can get some guys back healthy for Philly at home. 3-2 would have us sitting in a good position
The psychology is interesting for me at least; 2/2 sounds a F of a lot better than 1/3 lol! OTOH, 2/4 is a real possibility by the time that Philly game ends.
I was hoping to come out of this world trip at .500 - but that assumed a win today.
I think Cleveland will be more difficult, at least with the injuries we're facing.

...its why we've seen soooo many teams have these big "sack-fest" games against this Vikings offense. I'm tired of seeing defensive lines feast against this offense
In the #Vikings' last five games, dating back to their wild-card playoff loss to the Rams, they've given up a total of 27 sacks. They've allowed a minimum of three in each game.

Mentioned the Steelers’ quick game offense several times. Per ESPN Research, Aaron Rodgers averaged 2.17 seconds before throwing, his lowest time since it was first tracked in 2016. That’s how you beat pressure.

So its not just JJ. This team might not be as good as we believed overall. This isn't about placing someone down into the seat of a Porsche, it might be more a Lexus sedan. Hopefully not a Kia.
2nd half awaits.

It's like the beat writers are trying to clue KOC in on how to succeed.
He runs the same long routes regardless of personnel and DCs are starting to frequently shut us down. He won't run quick game, slants, etc to counteract.
He's had the same issues since day one. He's not learning or adapting. I'm not excited about the future with him at the helm.
And the D is getting manhandled. I love a BFlo D, but its always predicated on turnovers. Otherwise they are very average. Getting bitch slapped and pushed around all over the field by Pittsburgh.
Gross. Seriously.
I don't think it's just a depth problem. It's a starter problem too. Jurgens wasn't awesome, but neither was Kelly when he was in there. Darrisaw didn't play well either. Our two star free agents, Allen and Hargrave, were nearly invisible, as was Greenard, as was our Pro Bowl DB Murphy. And in what dark corner of the universe does Jordan Addison get caught from behind by a linebacker?
I feel like gameplan played a big part. Hats off to Tomlin, who completely outwitted KOC and BFlo. No, I'm not one of the knuckleheads who thinks we suddenly have bad coaches (no offense to Knucklehead). But there's just something completely out of sync on both sides of the ball right now. We'll likely get it fixed, but will it be too late?
It might just be that the slow gel we all kind of expected was disrupted, and continues to be, by injuries. I don't know, but we have to get it figured out, because Pittsburgh was not a great team. Neither were the Bears or Falcons. We start playing good teams soon.

Yah, the FA signings are not flashing on the field like I'd hoped...Least not yet. Plenty of criticism for coaches and players. Then we have little to no impact from our 2 #1 draft choices from 24 - and that is a growing concern for me re: Turner. I'm keeping the JJM is glass thoughts from creeping in too.
I'll know we're in real dire straights if the players start calling for a no coaches meeting soon.
Ok, enough of that darkness. Lets get a win Sunday and move on!!
