The MLB is right there with the NCAA as far as incompetence goes. Some years it's whispers of new baseballs, this year it's bongo bats. Imagine one team in the NFL just busting out the Vortexes next year and throwing 100 yd touchdowns, and it being allowed. That's what is happening here and it's insane.
I love baseball and will always be a fan, but come on.
Imagine an NFL team trying to do something hokey like that to give themselves an advantage like lining up players behind the QB in a short yardage situation and at the snap all pushing at the QBs butt to get them past the first down marker and then all the other teams trying to copy it to the point where the league has to vote on whether or not to make it legal :)
