Vikings Land Kelly
Sources: former Colts C Ryan Kelly reached agreement with the Vikings on a two-year, $18 million deal, per @JFowlerESPN and me.

Now if we can land his OL mate, I might get over being butt hurt on the Reed loss to Detroit...
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Wonder if the next shoe is Bradbury being traded.

Hopefully, but even if they just release him, they can almost pay Kelly's salary. This is a big upgrade. Kelly's been very consistent, even when he didn't have Nelson and Fries around him. But ya gotta think there's no way the Colts could want to lose 2/3 of their IOL. What are they thinking letting Fries play the market like this.

Gauging market value?

A bit of a surprise. I actually thought he was older then 31, been around the league a while. Certainly an upgrade at center and I would imagine Bradbury is traded or released which would now save us 3 million in cap, and Jurgens remains the back up
Thinking if we inked Kelly, it may influence Fries in our favor. Get it done.
A weakness becomes a relative strength.
Have to think the #Vikings will let go of Garrett Bradbury at some point after the recent addition of Ryan Kelly. They will likely try to trade him, but if they are unable to find any suitors, they can save $1.2M pre June 1st, and $4.4M post June 1st (per OTC). pic.twitter.com/8mftouVeiX

Really like this move for the price. Kelly is a stout presence in the middle. Stronger and much better pass protector than Bradbury.

Having a veteran center is extremely helpful for a young QB. An underrated factor that helps development. https://t.co/TGaNaq6BoC
