2025 NFL Mock Drafts

I think it would be foolish to avoid a certain player simply because the last player you took at the same position from the same college didn't work out. I mean, that's more than just a little silly. Should we avoid Omarion Hampton because Ty Chandler didn't work out?
I will say, though-- none of these mockers know how high the team is on Theo Jackson. They see we lost Bynum and they see Harrison Smith's age and they give us a safety. It's definitely a need and one that I can see worth of a 1st round pick. But it may not be quite the need they think it is.
Probably throw Jovante Williams in there too. I agree with you that this teams immediate need may be S given the situation it is in. Our number 1 need on paper may look like S, I do not see us taking one high, however. I don't see it has high of a need as it appears on paper.

I can't believe RB is +2500. Sure, it's less likely after adding Mason, but if anyone thinks KOC doesn't want to add a young premier back as BFF to his young franchise QB, you don't know ball. :P
yup, I like these odds more than the o/u 8.5
Jones is gone after this year, writers dont think like that.
Hell, this years RB class is akin to last years QB Class.
Mason is an RB2, change of pace kinda guy. Love him as part of a rotation though.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Exactly!
Thank you.
The trade for Mason lessens the “need” aspect of the equation. If they love Henderson, and why wouldn’t they, you’re not going to bypass him because you’ve got Jones for 1 year and Mason for 2.

I think you're exactly right. Love love love the Mason addition. He's a big, angry runner who can start for you if you need him to. But he's probably best as a change of pace, wear ya down 4th quarter back. RB1 is still Jones and he's 30. IMO, a great replacement for Jones long term to pair with Mason would be a speed guy like Henderson or Harvey....or Scootin' Tuten later on if you can get him to hold on to the damn ball.

I don't disagree ideally, I'm just not sure he's interested in using a first or second round pick on one (RB). A high pick next year could easily start at that position. I guess it depends how the Draft falls.
You cant grab Henderson if Barron is there, I get it...But I highly doubt Barron drops to 24.
At the end of the day, I dont care about the order. But if they could somehow get the #2 rb in the draft and then fill S, CB or DT too?
I might forgive Kam for his previous draft sins.

KAM has an opportunity to make this offseason remarkable and one that gets looked back upon as transformational. He needs to hit this Draft.
Yup...
But I'll add this; 24 has to be the one that's labeled the class took the franchise to a new level.
JJM and Turner have to hit and hit big.

In his second mock of the 2025 NFL Draft, @Eric_Edholm projects one team will land Abdul Carter AND Shedeur Sanders. Plus, the Cowboys fill a huge need. Check out the full first-round projection, 1-32, and a bonus pick!https://t.co/yNC6rHi3hX pic.twitter.com/9CBQoXS8WF

Fell in a pool with topless women and came out sucking my thumb. (Couldn’t get a RB). Otherwise, I’d take this and run with it.

That's a good draft. Every thin spot has a future. I think we'll draft a back, but there will also be plenty of good backs after the draft. If we miss on a back in the draft, I could see us signing two of the top UDFA RBs.

I would take that draft to the bank. Wish Amos would be there instead, but I would take it. What do you think of Jordan James? A lot of thread left on tires that wasn't beat up in college. Young. Has a ton of talent. Many positives. DO you view him as just a change of pace back, or could he be more?

I passed on Knight for Hairston. More immediate need but I think adding a iLB with size and cover ability is a good idea. Peguse is still my favorite pick. That's your backup NT and deep red zone RB lol.

Went with no trades this time around. You don't see Hampton there much at 24. With the rumors of teams going in certain directions, he could fall. WR is not very deep this year, so you could see a run on them as well. Just can't shake the Henderson and Judkins vibe though. Talking myself into liking Henderson more than Hampton.

I really like Jordan James. He was one I watched several weeks ago and wondered why more people weren't talking about him. I think it's about his 40. At his size, you'd want him to be faster than 4.55, but he's strong and runs tough.
There are other day 3 backs like that. Montrell Johnson Jr, Jacory Croskey Merritt, Tahj Brooks. I would not at all surprise me if the NFL pulled a couple starters from day 3 of this class.

I like him as well. Im surprised he wasn't faster, but we all know that isn't the end all be all. He just runs well. Patient and knows when to hit the holes with his burst. I would take him in Purple all day.
JCM I like a lot, but I think he goes higher than people think. Tahj Brooks, I have watched, I am indifferent and can't seem to make out what it is. The Vikings have the luxury of waiting on a RB and that is a good problem to have with the draft being so deep at the position.
A guy can dream, right? If Henderson fell, would be absolutely ecstatic for this scenario. Zero shot, however.
