Cam Robinson traded to Vikings
Our new left tackle. Unknown draft compensation
He always seemed to hustle to help a teammate up off the ground after a play. There was also one play in particular when I think it was Jones on a run play got shoved out of bounds and landed in the Colts bench area and a scrum broke out, Robinson got right in the middle to stand up for his teammate.
According to the same guy at the Athletic who said Cam Robinson was a target for the Vikings the day before he was traded, has the Vikings tied to these 6 players in trade discussions ahead of tomorrow's deadline;
JC Horne- Panthers
Dalvin Tomlinson- Browns
Calais Campbell- Dolphins
Kendall Fuller- Dolphins
Dylan Parham- Raiders
Osa Idigizuwa- Cowboys
Anybody on that list sending a shiver down anyone's leg?

I like the corners. Horn would be a dream. Former top 10 pick, still on his rookie contract and playing well. No clue why the Panthers would trade him though. Kendall Fuller seems like a more likely target.
Im honking my horn for Horne....
Sorry, sorry for that.
I'm all giddy cause its election day I guess.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

I heard that Horn won't agree to a trade to MN. Prefers to play in the south (assuming because of the weather).

hes on a rookie deal, can he really block a trade? I mean he could refuse to report, or to sign an extension or whatever, but to simply say he doesnt agree seems off doesnt it?

Saints just traded Lattimore to the Commies. It was rumored the Vikings had some interest there.

A pipedream, but it sure would be nice if we could extend him and put him at guard. But he's not going to take guard money when he can still get tackle money.

He wont sign an extension with us and he or his agent told us that from what i saw. So why give up draft capital if he wont.

I was thinking this same thing and we could realistically pay him tackle money to play guard with our extra cap next offseason, but yeah..I'm sure his preference would be to stay at tackle and some team will pay him
Here's a question;
Do the Vikings need to plan for a contingency LT after the season ends and b4 Darrisaw is ready?
I read where its typically a 10 mos recovery from the type of repair he had.

Maybe we just overpay the guy--we have the cash--to play LT for us in case Darrisaw can't make it back for week one and then shift him to guard when CD comes back. Seems unrealistic, but ya never know I guess. If he likes the team, the culture....

KOC: "I don’t know many teams that can lose one of the best left tackles in football and win six straight, and that’s a total testament to what Cam’s been able to come in here and do."
I think it's a testament to you too, Kev. Some teams are just incompetent. On incompetent teams, average players play poorly. On well-coached teams with a positive culture, you can bring in an average guy and get the best out of him. Darnold, Robinson, Redmond, Cashman, Gink, Pat Jones, Metellus, etc. I think the Vikings have a lot of players who might just be JAG's on other teams.
