Saw a article on X the great John Randle was at the DNC for Minnesota. Didn't know he was involved in politics. I first I thought is was some AI spoof. JR might be one of my all time favorite Vikings. Great personal story on his journey to and through the NFL.

Thought he might put a "skol vikings" at the end of that, but then that probably wouldn't go over well in the Windy City.

He has the same personality, doesn't he? Both he and Taimani are getting high marks in various metrics from the first couple preseason games. Even Flores mentioned them in his last presser. That's a great combo too if they end up sticking. An immovable NT next to a hair-on-fire penetrating DT is what this team has been missing since the days of the Williams Wall.

LDR is interesting: big motor, high energy, active, 6'4", 300 lb. long armed DT. He might have a spot as a situational pass rusher from the DT spot. He keeps his arms up, he'll bat down passes. Needs an offseason of NFL strength training, but he's strong now. A little raw as well, might be best served getting on the practice squad but somebody would poach him.

I am always so surprised when I see him listed at 6'4" as he doesn't seem that tall.  With that height a lot of room for his frame to develop.  They really seem to love him, think he definitely makes the team and agree he would be taken quickly off the PS.

I am really impressed with the scouting staff, from the videos of the draft room, you could see how badly they wanted to draft Rouse, Jurgens and LDR in the late rounds and all 3 seem like solid 3rd day picks which is really the key to building a great roster.

Yes, we were watching the DNC convention last evening and I was shocked to see that dude that looked like someone familiar saying the Minnesota support for Walz and Harris...I turned to my wife and said "that looks like John Randle!". Except he was in a suit and tie and didn't have any eye makeup. And then I think I saw the crawler at the bottom of the screen referencing John Randle...good for him.

I mean I hate to get political, but the doors been open so...

Seriously though, why would anybody vote for more of the same of the last four years under Biden/Harris? The cost of EVERYTHING has gone up astronomically. I can't even go to Subway for lunch anymore without it costing me $20 bucks. Gas is $5 dollars a gallon. Groceries, hotels, airfare...everything is up under the inflation driven by this regime. I'm going to have to sell a kidney to go on vacation. You may not like Trump the person, but if you are a hard working middle class American and voting for Kamala Harris and this "War hero" from Minnesota...you are slitting your own throats financially. Nevermind all the other failed issues and policies.

That DNC was brutal lol. Not a single ounce of substance, policy, plan on solving the economy, the border, lowering fuel costs, and lowering the squeeze felt by middle class working families in this country. Just a shit ton of word salad, untruths, and Trump ranting because the truth is they have nothing else. Wake up folks.

Would love to hear Johnny Randles favorite Kamala policy or accomplishment.

I rarely discuss politics, but I honestly think it's sad the type of candidates we've had the last two elections (for both parties).

Good moderate candidates with fresh ideas are getting passed over by both sides for whoever can sling the best insults.

If we as a country go back to looking for leaders and not who can get the most votes, I might actually care about politics.

Obviously at this point in time though, being called Hitler or a Nazi isn’t really a thing anyone cares about because the insults have been so misused and watered down to be meaningless.

That said, it’s pretty rich to assign it to Trump, when the Democrats have followed the model much more vigorously in recent years. Almost all the things people pretend Trump would do are things the Democrats have recently done.

Not that it really matters which party is worse as both parties are working for the establishment/deep state, and if you are voting red or blue, you are voting for the shit show that is America right now and are voting against your own self interests. You are voting for a candidate who is bought and paid for already to move your money into the hands of the wealthy few who want to keep you at barely subsistence levels. Each generation is getting more indebted than the last. This is not an accident. This is what happens when you vote for corrupt people that aren’t serving you.

No Trump isnt Hitler, but he is a convicted felon, tried unlawfully to overturn a fair election and found liable for sexual assault. He has been indicted for many more criminal acts as well. A vote for him is impossible in my view and I think any reasonable person would agree.

Now policy?  We can argue all day every day.

As for the deep state?  Rubbish. Unless you argue that the government serves a much leaner purpose, which I easily can understand. The state operates within guidelines and is not supposed to be efficient, it is supposed to protect us unless we want to return to 150 years ago domestically and it can be every man for himself.

Politics sucks, we can agree on that.

Tell me what crime was he found guilty of? Answere is there is no crime. This is all about doing everything they can to keep him from running. They are so afraid of him becasue his policies worked. He made every politician that has failed for decades look like the worthless scum they are.

By the way, the decisions in the NY court will be thrown out.

Falsifying business records in the state of NY

There was no crime you say?  When you answer your own questions in argument it is a fallacy. You are fooling only yourself.

Who is they?  The deep state?  So the NY Ag or whoever brought the case is part of a conspiracy to keep him from office?  What about all the other indictments?  A part of a conspiracy ?  Cmon man it is not reasonable.

What policies worked?  His SCOTUS reversed longstanding precedent on abortion rights. What else worked?  I can’t think of much unless you are a real estate
Developer. His tax cuts worked great for them.

We will go down like Rome did PF.  We live in a fallen world and the US is deteriorating because of several factors including mass media, personal selfishness and righteousness and just plain greed.

Nearly half the population is pissed off about the government but are unwilling to organize a rational way to change it. Much to the delight of our real enemies.

I will continue to respect and try to love my neighbors because I believe in The goodness of people, but I can’t see a future that is not controlled by the wealthy and that will lead to continued division. I think this is what medialle talks about.

We visited the Eagles Nest when we were there last month. It’s now a restaurant.  We ate feet away from where that picture was taken.

Preach brother!!!  We aren’t going to get better until we stop voting for the same old shit. The system is designed to keep us pissed at each other.

We told the Germans we were staying with that politics in the US has turned into calling everyone you disagree with Nazis or Hitler. They couldn’t believe how sick someone would have to be to say that.

We took our kids through Dachau when we were there. Before anyone calls anyone a Nazi they should visit the evil that was naziism. See what Nazis did with your own eyes. Walk where evil walked. Trump may be a piece of shit but he’s far far far from Hitler and the Nazis.

To those who throw those terms around so loosely.  Grow up.

Visiting one of the camps and saying a prayer for those who perished is on my bucket list...

You are probably not in the mood after seeing Dachau live, but the recent move (Zone of Interest) is a powerful way to bring the holocaust and industrialization of mass murder to life for a new generation.

On that topic:

Trumplestilskin threatened to leave NATO, routinely offended our allies, and waxed poetic about Putin, Kim Jong Un, and other walking filth.

"Heels Up Harris" and Walz are both glad-handers with groups like CAIR that connect to Hamas/Hezbollah, have pro-terror junk like "the Squad" in their party, and worry about optics over all else.

There's no rational reason to support either of these disasters.

KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....
