Looks like that slot move for Thielen was genius

His big gain this week was with him lined up out wide, wasn't it?
Thielen has just become a plain stud. And the game plans have been pretty solid in utilizing Diggs and Thielen.
This move raised an eyebrow for me at first...seemed counterintuitive to put the larger man in the slot...WTF do I know...do we credit Shurmur or our new WR coach for the move?
That's awesome. It was great when they showed his stats on the big boards, the crowd went nuts.
Alright, it's inevitable. Who's going to be the first? To call him the Vikings version of Edelman?
I think locking him up in a new contract was just as genius ;)

That's probably why they moved him. Watching them run their routes on Sunday, it seemed to make perfect sense.
They like him in the slot for his run blocking abilities as well...

I suspect it's Shurmur, because the Eagles used Jordan Matthews (6-3, 216) in the slot when Shurmur was their OC/HC.
Looks like Spelly extending him for 4 years at 19.2 million was also genius.
