It's just so funny how he tries to troll the Viking fan base. Doesn't he realize what happened the last time he tried that?

I don't know that I've ever seen somebody more deserving of a throat punch...he's just got one of those faces that screams to be smashed with a cast iron pan.

Someone with the Broncos may want to remind Sean he is in the AFC now so it would not have been in his favor to help the AFC team out, that is just how much of an idiot he is, I have no doubt he wanted to move up to get JJ, but if he really did what he is saying, it was completely moronic. Every time I look at him, I laugh thinking of his skol chant getting thrown back in his face.

It'd be 'terrible' if some pass or run play wipes out on the sideline right in his lap this coming season...

So he is implying they did not in any way attempt to move-up for a QB outside of Nix?

It probably was the Raiders who wanted to move up from 13. I met Sean Payton at a conference in New Orleans about, what, ten years ago? It was the year he was banned from the NFL. He was next door neighbor to the CEO of the company putting on the conference. I thought he was a jerk because of the piling on Favre in that NFC Championship game, etc.

He was actually very contrite about what happened, and was a down-to-earth guy one-on-one. I think he coached junior high school football that season? Anyway, there's always another side to someone, to a story. And having taken a private cue from some Montana politicians (including one neighbor who was elected governor of this state, as a Democrat in a Red state), there is what you will say to the public, to the media, that you will contradict in private conversations about what you really think.

Have whatever opinion you choose, but I will cut Sean Payton some slack because of my meeting with him.

As for getting the Vikings to move up? Nonsense. The Vikings moved up to make sure the Raiders didn’t as they were going to be left out. They wanted Penix, so when he went they wanted to move up for one of the other two. Would they have taken Nix then? Possibly. Either way, Minnesota couldn’t risk it and it had nothing to do with this idiot.
