Holy Crap it's slow

Its been like this for almost a week now for me. Getting old.

I've asked Mike to look into it.

Mine's been slow to load for a week or so too.

I haven’t been able to log on using safari for at least 2 weeks. 

Mike said he will get into it soon,  but it will be a day or two as he is tied up with work and family stuff today.  Apparently there is a server update that needs to be performed that may fix the issue so hang in there for a couple more days!

Yes I am not wxactly sure what is causing the issue but I know that there has been some slowness for me on the server in general. 

One bug issue is that thos version of the software is woefully outdated. But updating it is tricky as there are a lot of plugins that could be affected by an upgrade.

In addition to that I ise the server as a development playsite for some other programming stuff I do. Nothing major and not the issue for the slowdown but still, I need to make sure that isn’t causing any unnecessary load. 
Hopefully I can get to the bottom of it soon.

Seems to be loading very quick tonight.

It's hit and miss for me.  Just when I think it's all good, it starts to slow down again.  If Mike hasn't done anything, I doubt the server "fixed" the problem by itself.

It still has that issue where scrolling up or down gets stuck somehow.  Been having it for a long time both desktop and mobile.

For me (on Safari) it is quick to get to the Vikefans site, but slow loading from the front page of the site to get to the longship forum page. 

Once on the forum? It is fine

The only time I've seen that issue is when somebody posts a huge picture or videos/gift that seems to need to buffer a bit.  Aside from earlier this week,   but not since Mike got involved.   Is this an issue in all threads?
