“We want to thank Joe for his commitment and contributions to our success the past three seasons,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday in a statement announcing the decision. “These decisions are extremely difficult and Joe is one of the best men I’ve had the opportunity to work with in this league.”
Damn, the Packers keep improving… ;)
Heard a factoid about NFL Coordinators on sports radio last night.
Since 2022 every NFL team has replaced their Offensive Coordinator.
Continuity is no longer a thing in the NFL.
The great Vic Fangio is also on to yet another team. Supposedly will become the Eagles new DC. For somebody who is thought to be so inventive and on the cutting edge of defensive coaching...he never has a lot of success at these places befire he's on to the next stop. I don't get the infatuation with him

He rode in on Jim Harbaugh’s coattails, he was with him at Stanford & followed with him to the Niners. Along with Harbaugh, he was credited with turning around the 49ers defense.

That is crazy. Counting the 22 season I'd assume. So 2 seasons. With the minority coaching bonus we should only have minority coordinators. The odds that they get hired and we get a draft pick or we just move on is almost a certainty.
These head coaches are under such a microscope themselves. They get 2-4 years to win a super bowl, with or without the QB needed to do so.

Can that be true? That seems really hard to believe.
Give me a good QB and an average OC working together for three years and I'll beat your good QB in a new offense every day of the week.
I would be interested in the Packers oline coach. To be able to hold and get away with it 90% of the time is very valuable.

It would be interesting to see how many QB's and Coaches "could have been" if they were just given more time. There are so many factors that go into success that its hard to get them all in one or two seasons.
