I don't really get this, are we laughing cause the Lions lost?  They were the best team down the stretch last year and really should have made the playoffs and then came back and won the division and had a 17 point lead in the NFC championship game to the #1 see on the road, their inexperience ended up hurting them, but I give them a lot of credit for an amazing season and coming so close to the Super Bowl, something we have not done in some time, we have been sitting home for weeks, so nothing to laugh at on this end.  Pretty disappointing to see all the bashing on a team that in our division that had a well deserved great year.
This is rich.

Somewhere in Michigan this morning, there's a Lions version of you going on and on about how the Lions will never win ANYTHING. That Dan Campbell will never win the big one and Jared Goff just doesn't have what it takes.

Can confirm. I was born and raised in Michigan. This is happening right now. Danny's big dick energy is losing some luster. Fans are gonna fan.

Might just be the same person. It would be hard to believe all that hate can be directed at just one team.

Who did the Vikings get for making that brilliant trade and passing on Kyle Hamilton who plays like an all-pro?

Andrew Booth and Lewis "has anyone Cine" him.   Two guys who play like the invisible men.

Josh Reynolds had two brutal drops that killed them even more than Dan Campbell last night. The Gibbs fumble too. They also let Purdy run free for so many big runs in the second half. I’ve been super critical of Campbell and think his act will wear thin sooner rather than later but last night he just did what he always does. For better or worse.

The players and coaches collectively whizzed it away, simple as that.

Lions had 2 playoff wins this year. One less than the Vikings in the last 20 seasons.

I've been waiting for the Vikings to get a Lombardi as long or longer than you. So I get the frustration of 77, 89, 98, 09 and 17.

But man, the Lions haven't sniffed the playoffs since 1991.  Comparing the 2 franchises is ridiculous imo.

You at least got to give yourselves a chance by making the dance - and the Vikings have done at least that.

Wasn't a comparison it was a stated fact.

Vikings have been somewhat relevant over those 19 years (until playoffs) while Detroit has not.

Detroit has now experienced the "agony of defeat" that we know all too well.

Just once, I'd love one morsal of the success teams like the 49ers and Chiefs have had. It's rough being a Vikings fan this time of year and it gets rougher every year..

At least if the Lions had won it would have made it a watchable game for me.

Not me. Love seeing the NFCN lose and choke. Twice on Sunday.

This narrative that other NFCN fans should be 'rooting' for Detroit, fuck that shit.

Not me. I live in northern California and get tired of the "Bang Bang Niner Gang" bullshit all the time and hearing my friends rub it in. I would have loved nothing more than to see the Lions beat them, but now I'm relegated to hearing all the bullshit the next couple weeks.

Also happy we could help the Lions out saving cap space on a hefty TE extension and using our pick we gave them to take LaPorta. Bravo, Golden Child...bravo. A masterful bit of GM maneuvering if I ever saw it lol
