The Palestinians have to have a home-land of their own.

Will never happen with Netanyahu in power

This could quickly spread to Israeli/Iran war - and it'll get even nastier (and higher stake).

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Yep, its a complicated issue. The Palestinians have gotten fucked in this deal. But Hamas is a straight up terrorist organization. That can't be denied.

Yep.  Hamas uses the situation to feed their org.  But Israel isn't innocent in all this either.

F that.

Uncle Sam should have his “deposit slips” ready.
”OK, that was 500 Tomahawks, and how many F-16s? and if you act now, we will throw in a dozen Stinger missiles for free” and our kids should be directing fire from from an air conditioned room in Arizona or NM

Ah, good ‘ol justifying killing in the name of religion.

I know isolationism is not going to fly in todays global society/market,  but damn,  at what point do we look at our bank account and the situation in our own country and say, sorry,  I just dont have it today?  I know its terrible what is happening to the civilians and innocents,  but those things are happening every day all over the world,  what makes it our problem when it happens in the Ukraine and in Israel?  Places where it was happening long before we were a country,  and will likely still be happening long after we are gone.  I used to think we could help make a difference,  but I just dont see it,  American blood and money thrown at foreign problems rarely changes anything long term anymore.

Yup, lemme buy you a beer.

Buy all the weapons you want (while we keep our best stuff) just dont put our kids in harms way.  Have at each other - Praise be to God, or Allah, or the Sugar Plumb Fairy.  Hopefully one day logic will prevail, but Ill have long since passed

Winner winner chicken fucking dinner.  I'm tired of paying for everyone else's wars.  It's why I've been a strict isolationist for north of a decade now.  Bring every troop, everywhere home now.  Invest in our country.  Invest in our youth.  Pay down the credit card so that we don't go bankrupt.

It sounds good.....but....you act like if we do this, that's where the funds will go: investing in our country. They almost assuredly wouldn't. Our politicians would jam it down some other corporate rabbit hole that wouldn't benefit U.S. citizens one iota. This country is run by corporations now, they are 'people'....the supreme court decided that the 14th amendment made it so and it started to become a real legal concept. Corporate Personhood. This gives them unbelievable rights. And they took all the manufacturing jobs to China, gutting our nation. China's economy “opened up” in December 1978 and the timing couldn't have been better. At the time, U.S., Japanese, and European companies were looking for new locations to manufacture their goods cheaply after wages rose in East Asian countries like Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan.

Corporations won't allow for isolationism. We are truly in a global economy and there's no looking back. They are the ones to looked toward for the reason of our problems and how the politicians are in their pocket. Corporate gains go into their coffers, corporate losses are bankrolled by taxpayers.

I feel that way,  but I dont feel that the situation isn't repairable,   but things need to change internally,  people need to wake up and realize that the tribalization that is taking place in America is by design,  the smaller the group the easier we are to control.  We need to say fuck that noise and quit allowing ourselves to be pigeon holed and be Americans once again.

We have been sold a bullshit line that all our individualisms are under attack,  but its not from other individuals that we need to fear,  its the global corporate and socialist/communist agenda that the media is pushing.

People are being led to believe that conservatives hate all minorities and liberals are all about killing babies and giving away our country.  Its a lie,  but its the one that's being propagated daily and has been getting louder for decades now.

Our countries creators revolted over a small tax by the royalty,   but we are one of the highest taxed nations on earth and are losing our control more every minute.

Oh I am sure the military complex is already salivating.  Hard to tell since they are so fat from the Ukraine conflict already.

And I think Uncle "sam" already has sent cash to the other side anyway.

I will just say this, stay the hell out of that morass.

Hamas and Israel had a deal. Secretly. But its just a matter of time when the terrorists are religious fanatics. And now the "Iron Dome" let them down, but most importantly, the Israelis felt the 'deal' would hold up. Hamas was biding their time. Stupid on Israel's part. You can't appease those with a lust for power or religious proclivities. Yes, Neville Chamberlin I'm talking to you.

I feel for the Palestinians, I really do. But they are powerless. And their only 'voice' is a militant terrorist group. Israel is going to ANNIHILATE Hamas. Pound them to dust in the dirt. The collateral damage is the profoundly sad part.

The situation is definitely NOT reparable....outside a revolution. What's going to change? Are you going to change it? Me? Fuck no. I just have opinions while living in my expensive house near the water in Florida. I got mine and I'm going to fuck anyone up that tries to take it. Not an ideal stance for transformative change to those that need it. Not idealistic. But I know the game and it's rigged. You think voting is going to change a damn thing? LMAO.

Help those that you can, keep your scope narrow and local. There's plenty there to do. Big picture you can't do a damn thing. Reach out and assist those within your reach. That's a big deal. The rest is just Greta Thunberg resting bitch face.

Who are you going to vote for that's going to change anything? Trump was going to 'drain the swamp', right? All candidates become the same person, just different financial levers. You understand the President doesn't move the needle for everyday person, right? So tell me, what are YOU going to do? I admit that I'm not going to do a damn thing except horde my money like a fucking squirrel in October burying nuts. I've got an opinion but if I give that in one hand or shit in the other, what fills up quicker?

They will do their best to make the terrorists look good.  Cuz, that's the way we report the news nowadays, and it's the indefensible positions which are defended by brain dead voters and politicians.
