Lions are looking very tough and demolishing GB.  I'm happy for the Lions as I have family from Michigan.  Packers are putrid, love watching them get destroyed!  Woohoo!

Loving it as well.  GB's OL is decimated with injuries, and it is showing.  But even without that Love does not look good at all.

Not sure if the Lions looked good for the Packers looked bad. Loved it regardless. Never seen so many Lions fans at Lambeau, looks like fair-weather has hit Green Bay.

Lions looked very capable and young.  Listening to the commentators talk about how they built the team through the draft, sure seems relevant to a lot of discussion here.

if you are going to have superstars and a competitive roster, hitting on draft picks is a must,   you have to have those rookie contracts to offset the superstar mega deals,  and still have enough left for above average talent at the rest of the positions.

Suspect how we got TJ, perhaps a luxury, like trying to make your your moms car a hot rod.

yep,  it was the right idea,  but not likely the right position to be focusing on.  If we do get a young new QB though it  will be good to have a quality TE that can be like a security blanket,  but being able to chuck it up to JJ is not a bad move either.

They traded Hockenson before having to pay him then pick up Sam LaPorta in the draft, cheap rookie deal and may turn out to be just as good in a few years.  Wish the Vikings would have gotten Jack Campbell to put in the middle of our defense though.

They could afford to trade a young start TE like Hockenson because they had so many high draft picks to replace him.   I thought they would miss DJ Chark but I was wrong.
