Ahhh, that old early morning nervous energy/anticipation as Viking's kickoff approaches. Love it. Also excited for my NFL Sunday ritual. Let's light this candle!

Kid has a double header today, so I won't be able to tune in until the game's over. The "don't text me about the game" texts are going out soon. And then I'll watch a 3-hour broadcast in about 1 hour.
Oh yeah, THIS is why I bought the ticket.

Yes sir! Wings, onion dip, beer and the NFL Sunday Ticket poolside awaits......a Bloody Mary kicks things off around 11:30 am.

I do that each week. I've gotten so used to watching recorded games that I struggle with sitting for three hours now. I do check the score, however. If they lose, I sometime won't even watch. Yeah, I've changed as I've aged. B)
