Enjoyed him a bunch as a Viking! He fit the brand personna so well.
Best of luck to him and his family...
What do these guys do staring down 40-50 years of retirement lol!
Very classy guy, very good player, and was a professional through and through. I wish him all the best in his next chapter <3

A 2nd-round pick in 2011, Rudolph spent 10 years with Minnesota and the final two with the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Does anyone know if he just didn’t get a team to sign him? Seems odd to go through a trading camp and then just before the season starts, retire. I am sure it’s been done many times as a player finally realizes how tough it’s getting on their body.

Rudolph says the #Vikings will honor around their Week 3 game against the #Chargers. Should be a very special weekend for Kyle and his family. pic.twitter.com/IFMfhGBX72

I think he waited to see if someone wanted a veteran presence in their locker room before they locked in their roster. No takers... No a big surprise...he had 3 total catches in 2022
