I'm caught between Evans and Asamoah. Evans' 3 concussions make me nervous if he can stay on the field, so I'll take Asamoah.

The OP asked which defensive player, but if it's open to all players, I go with Ingram. His rookie year wasn't as bad as most think. In context with other rookie guards, his PFF grade was top half. What's more, he improved quite a bit over the course of the season.
