Mine is pretty self-explanatory; its derived from the latin term "insaniam"
That avatar is my 12 1/2 year old black lab Auggie
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
I spent years living in SoCal and all my close buddies were Rams or Raiders fans and I was the lone Vikings fan.
Therefore I became "1VikesFan"
Mine is pretty much where I currently live. Moved here as a teenager...no choice. My avatar is of my hometown is Minnesota.
Randy "Superfreak" Moss is my favorite player of all time...so there you have it
My high school maccot is a Brickie, somewhat resembling the Purdue Boilermaker but Purple and gold. From the brickyard in our town from back in the 1860’s. Avatar is my boxer, Marti (RIP) and pug Theo.
From north central Florida. I wasn't thinking that people would think FL= Florida Gators. I actually went to U of Florida in Gainesville. Walked on the football team as QB and was never given a chance by then QBs coach Mike Shanahan. He didn't even give me a chance to throw one football. Oh well, maybe someone told him I was a Vikings fan.
In the late 80s, I started trying to get every Vikings football card. I’m not from Minnesota, and had no idea who Rip Hawkins was. I was born in ‘63, and his last season was ‘65.
I always thought it was a cool football player name, so I decided to use that as my name. I’d been using InVike, since I was from Indiana, but changed within about a year. Probably around ‘99.
BrickVike
Yohan the Brickie is well known in Portage. We lost to them a lot back in the day. Lol
Marched Drum Corps International for the seven time World Class Champions
Santa Clara Vanguard in 1983 - First in prelims / Third in finals,
otherwise I would have a DCI World Champions ring
Picture of the corps crest in the background / horn line in uniform foreground.
Basically my “five minutes of fame” playing for a “half - filled” Orange Bowl
RS is for Robert Smith
Express... if you have to ask... :p
Wife and I a LONG time ago were on vacation in a nice place outside of Seattle.....ordered room service and got a 'StickyBun'.....something about me saying it out loud on the phone in bed caused my wife and I to just bust out laughing. So much we couldn't finish our room service order. So now its a long standing inside joke.
The dog in my sig is a throwback (bigger than standard, around 19 lbs.) Pomeranian named 'Trouble' (rescue). He's a piece of work and generally hilarious.
I'm not an NFL coach. I'm not an NFL GM. I'm not an NFL scout. I'm just some knucklehead sitting behind a keyboard.
AGR was the fraternity I was in when I set the account up several fortnight’s ago.
I’m using a pro Ukraine picture until they drive the Rushkies into the seas. Then I’ll switch back to Calvin and Hobbes which is the best comic strip.
The Maroon Bells are twin mountains just west of Aspen in Colorado, and one of my favorite places on earth. I've camped, fished and backpacked in that area many times. When John Denver sang about Colorado, he was singing about this place.
Avatar is my daughter picking dandelions in the area. She's 16 now though, so might be time for an update.

Great name! My dog's name is Auggie too. Did you get it from that old cartoon?
Been up here for 40 years but still bleed purple, so I'm like a Red Green lodge member upon meeting another Viking fan----extends hand---"So long time Suffering, glad to meet ya."
I've been a Rolling Stones fan for about 45 years or more. The song "Happy" from Exile on Mainstreet is always a favorite. It's as simple as that: "Happy" + "Viking" = Me on the Longship, "HappyViking" B)

No, I think my kid came up with it back when we adopted him at 8 weeks old.It seemed to fit the Lab persona well so we went with it.
I have no idea where she would have heard it, a she wasn't exposed to our boomer cartoons much.

Auggie the Doggie? I could see that.My Gramps named me bull when i was little as I always won competitions between all the cousins. Later on it turned into Bullazing due to my street bball prowess i guess. Im too lazy to type the g i guess, plus there is no blaze left in me unless its to see who gets to the dinner table first.

My best room service ever was in Seattle also, drove up the coast from Cali in a convertible on thanksgiving eve and a hot breadbowl with Clam Chowdah and a Ceasar salad just hit all the spots.

Nice. We went to the Salish Lodge in Snowqualmie Falls. Gorgeous.
About 20 years ago (jeez) I got an xbox and was setting up my online profile. Wanted something to strike fear into the hearts of my enemies... but the name had to be unique and I was late to the party, so everything I came up with was long gone.
Just kept trying more and more crap, and even that was all taken. Finally I typed in pattersaur which is a riff on my name and a dinosaur and it got accepted and couldn't be edited. So that was that.
So I've pretty much kept it around because I know it sucks, but it reminds me not to take any of this too seriously.
