YouTube TV frontrunner for NFL Sunday Ticket
Love it. I cut the cord about 8 months ago and have used YouTube TV as my primary streaming service. Giddyup.

Same. Good news.
It's to bad you tube lost ballys sports or that would have been my choice as well. As bad as the twins, wolves, and at times the wild can be, there's to much value in that channel for me not to make it a priority when picking an entertainment provider.
Where are you getting your live tv then?
We use the apple tv hardware for streaming and access netflix etc through that

Live TV through YouTube TV via Roku. I get Netflix and Amazon Prime (friend gave us her password) also. Keep your eye out for free trials on things like HBO Max, etc. Its happens all the time. Get it for a free trial and slam as much in as you can during it. :p

I subscribe to the Bally streaming service for $15 per month. I get to watch my Wild games again, and if I miss the game, the replay is on demand so I can queue it up the next day. The Wolves and Twins games are included too.
Now you can go to any streaming service you'd like for live TV and not worry about getting the local Pro games or not.

That's good news! I've been using YouTubeTV for years and it's DVR is the best. I don't need Sunday Ticket, but YouTube TV allows me to access my account on the Roku home network at the lake cabin without having to purchase another account. They're the only streaming service that does that, but YouTube TV does charge more than some.
YoutubeTV with Amazon Firestick. Love it. We stream Sunday Ticket as a pay service. Wonder what will change if Youtube does get the Ticket.
Very interesting! I've been a YT-TV subscriber for two years. Lots of sports, great streaming service. Do they have the infrastructure to handle the increased demand? Hope so! I would pay for a single team ticket but not the entire TV package. I have plenty of football to watch now, just wanting to lock in the Viking games.
NFL announced a multi-year agreement with Google granting YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels the right to exclusively distribute NFL Sunday Ticket to consumers in the United States starting with the 2023 NFL season.

I looked at YouTube for a replacement for live tv vs Dish.
The costs were about the same and it wasn't worth the hassle to switch for us.

Yeah same. I have the Ballys sports app for Wild and Timberwolves. I love YouTube TV.

Go Wild! Last night was a late game so I watched periods 1 and 2 then went to bed and caught the 3rd this morning. Sweet 4 -1 win. B)

FuboTV is superior, and it's not owned by Google. Unfortunately, this is the way of the world now.
I don't get this. Red Zone and Sunday Ticket are two different audiences. Sunday Ticket audiences are one-team, out of market fans, of which there are millions. Red Zone's biggest appeal is among fantasy players, of which there are millions. Some overlap to be sure, but these are both very big audiences.
I'm sure this is a good business deal for Google because they're sharp.

But I'd guess an overwhelming amount of people aren't interested in Sunday Ticket anymore because of Red Zone. https://t.co/Qa73SqMs25

I had Redzone for a few years and only looked at maybe 5 times tops. Some love it though.
As someone who's an out of market fan, I just want to thank all the women in my life (especially my current gf) who gave me the gift of Sunday Ticket when I didn't want to be burdened with DirecTv satellites. You all are the real heroes. Now with DirecTv out of the equation, your watch has ended.
Fellas, find yourself a real woman who knows how to take care of you....at least for 4-5 months of the year.

I teared up....

So YouTube will let you use your roku stick at “alternative locations” as long as it logs on to its home IP address once a quarter.
I’m not sure if there will be a better way to police it but in theory you could share streams with a family member as long as your media stick made it back to its home base just before the season started and then again midway through or so.
King: NFL Sunday Ticket Price on YouTube TV Estimated to Be Around $300 for Consumer
The NFL Sunday Ticket move to YouTube TV has been widely celebrated by fans, and the reduced cost could be even better news.
"The price point has not been determined, but one TV person estimated it would be in the neighborhood of $300 for the season," Peter King of NBC Sports reported Monday.
The package for DirecTV with extra features costs $149.99 per month, with a $79.99 monthly cost for the satellite company's regular subscription, per Lillian Rizzo of CNBC.
King also noted YouTube TV could provide a "single-team option" for fans, providing an opportunity to see only one team's out-of-market games while paying a cheaper cost. The only choice in the current system provides all out-of-market Sunday afternoon games and NFL RedZone for a fixed rate.
DirecTV had been the exclusive home of Sunday Ticket since 1994, but the NFL announced a deal last week with YouTube TV starting in the 2023 season. Per Rizzo, the NFL will make $2 billion annually on the new seven-year contract.
