Sad to see,  he'll recover.

Just sayin' QB's that run get injured.

The truth is this kind of injury can almost happen at any time. Hard to predict, if not impossible. Doesn't matter if you are running or not, its all about catching your leg at the wrong ankle and in just the right moment.

ACL in December probably puts his September in jeopardy.

On that note, one more reminder about the value of a QB who's never missed a game due to injury.

Cardinals are as mediocre a franchise as you can find in pro sports. So says the Vikings fan.

It happen. But less every year. In the pocket, they have a lot of protection. Cant hit them high, cant hit low. Once they leave the pocket and are runners, those linebackers and db's get their chance to do what they are on this earth to do

The day before, against Denver I think, he put a nasty juke on a defender.  Then in a walk thru practice the next day his knee came apart following through on a throw.

Edit, it was San Diego

Yeah, it was speculated that the twist on the knee in the follow through caused it to come apart, but the ligaments were gone from that juke or some other contact in the game.
