....and should be. He didn't hit a double, he just started on second base. Sean Payton's rumored return job?

Wasn't it a out a month ago SP was rumored to be headed back to Dallas?

Denver is likely the next team to make a coaching change IMO,   all that money and all those picks tied up in mr inexcusable and they are vying for the top pick in the coming draft?  Somebody is going to have to pay.

Oh wait....you mean this guy? The one so many Viking's fans boo hoo'd over leaving? He's sucked out loud since taking over as GM there:

Yup,  that guy.  That was a tough job to take,  the Chiefs were already the class of the division,   the raiders are always making noise,  the chargers were definitely on the rise,  and the broncos had a nice D and just needed to find an O to pair with it,  but who wants to sell the slow fix to a fan base ?  Paton took a swing and missed terribly,  I wouldn't be surprised to see him fired as well,   but I have to think an offensive minded HC with a big name QB that is setting new franchise lows for productivity will be the first head to roll.

Kingsbury has been a bust...  he's had a pretty good young QB, good defense, and that team still can't win consistently.  Once playoff appearance last year, no playoff wins and looking like two sub-.500 seasons and another at .500.  Not looking good for him...  but he'll probably get hired right away for a college HC job.

So gross:

When a team trades two first-round picks for a player, an extension usually follows. Sure enough, the Broncos inked Wilson to a five-year, $242.5 million extension on Sept. 1. Wilson had two years and $51 million left on his existing contract, so the Broncos have him on the books for about $295 million over the next seven seasons. In practice, Wilson is owed $104 million through the 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons, most of which is guaranteed either now or by the end of 2024. There's not really any way for the Broncos to get out of that money if he wants to play football. Even in a league in which teams are willing to absorb more dead money than ever before, the first time they could really consider cutting Wilson would be 2025, when they could spread the $49.6 million due over two years for cap purposes. In that scenario, they would still be paying him for his guaranteed $37 million salary in 2025, but he would be playing elsewhere.

He looks identical to what Donovan McNabb looked like in 2011, fat and outta shape.

That is great work there.  Couldn't happen to a better team and a better QB

Russ isn't sitting well with his teammates. The HC told Russ to stop saying, 'Its Russell Wilson time' when they were down 14 points late in the game, lol. I shit you not. I think the guy is a little nuts, see below:

The same pick that was sent to Seattle you mean? That R. Wilson trade is getting abysmal by the day

The mere fact that the coach has to tell him this tells you why people always said he was "different". His team mates had to go through Russ's people to get his phone number.

I feel like Russell Wilson is living in lala land...  Like the whole "Broncos Country, let's ride!" thing...  And now this...  like dude, take your high knees and STFU and play better.  You wanted out of Seattle and now you tanked a team that is doing worse than it was with Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater as the starting QBs. Time to hunker down and earn back the respect of your teammates.

Nah, Russell Wilson time was about 4 years ago.

Also would have been good before we were down by 2 scores.

He has always been a bit wacked.  There were rumors about it while he was in Seattle.  Many people just waived it off because they were winning.  But there is a reason Seattle was very willing to move on.

The Seahawks are looking like bandits in this trade. I am curious to see if Hackett and even Paton make it to next season, especially since they have new ownership.
