Wow
Nothing to say other than that. Lifeless and dominated. Worst football game I've seen in a LONG time. Helpless. How does something like that even happen?
Only good thing is the team can get this bitter, disgusting taste out their mouths on Thursday already. There's no other redeeming qualities about it. None.
I'm not ready to get off the bandwagon, but stories like the one below can't be discounted either:

Win Thursday nite & yesterday's loss won't be forgotten, but will be forgiven.
Last ass whopping was the NFCC game. We’ll learn alot about O’Connell with how they respond.
All good points.
Only thing I can add is that we'll learn a lot about this team and how they respond (in additional to KOC) by Friday.
These guys will need a 10 day break after NE. They really gotta fire up for December/January.
Last night was the first game I've left in the 3rd quarter in a long, long time.
Reminded me of 41-0. Utterly hopeless. Couldn't do anything. Offense, defense, didn't matter. This victory for Dallas is the kind of convincing win the Vikings needed. Now everyone will put Dallas as the NFC front runner....until they lose to some mediocre team with a better game plan.
The Vikes looked soft on defense and offense without hardly any fight. They simply got pushed around and out muscled on the LOS on both sides of the ball.
I have a hard time believing they get that fixed by Thursday. The Pats D will feast on how bad the OLine is right now.
Had we lost this game by a score or even two, we could just say it was a bad game, but we never looked like we belonged on the same field all day. The game looked like a group of amateurs trying to play against a professional team. Great teams lose games, but not like this, we were totally exposed, just way too many weaknesses to be a serious contender.

well dont feel bad, most everyone in the country left the game in the 3rd quarter, hell at least you showed up, which is more than can be said for our team.

Great teams lose games, but not like this, we were totally exposed, just way too many weaknesses to be a serious contender.i think the frustrating part is those weaknesses are things we have been talking about all year, we've all talked about how the OL cant handle a decent pass rush and how our DL cant stop the run, but yet nothing has been done to try and address those issues. Ingram has been left in there to sink or swim, mostly sink, we've known we need DL help and really havent done anything there either. teams that have post season aspirations typically try and make improvements as the season reveals those weak areas, aside from making the move for Hock when ISj did his usual thing, they have really been surprisingly silent considering the 8-1 start. We've been talking for 3 weeks or so that they need to sit Ingram and give Reed a shot, if for no other reason than to let the kid catch his breath, and that wouldnt have cost a dime.
Darrisaw already being ruled out for Thursday is not great for us. Pats defense is very good. They will try to run the ball down our throats and limit Mac Jones’ exposure. Based on yesterday that is probably a recipe for success. Hopefully the defense can pull it together— fast.
The offense… yeah. Kirk was getting killed all day and when he did have time didn’t play well either. It was a disaster all around. Coaches abandoning the run game, which was actually kind of working, was the cherry on top. Not a fun Sunday afternoon.
At least we have the night game on Thanksgiving so if we stink out the joint again it won’t ruin my midday feast!
I obviously don't put this loss all on Cousins, but he doesn't feel pressure until it's too late. Some QBs sense the pressure and move before it's more of a problem. By the time Cousins feels the pressure, he just folds for the hit. He does stand in to make throws only to get drilled, so he does show toughness, but his in pocket spidy senses just aren't honed in to avoid some of those sacks by getting out of the pocket or throwing the ball away.

Even our best offensive lineman, actually the highest graded offensive lineman in the NFL, was getting beaten. But instead of recognizing this and adjusting the offense, we kept trotting out Rocky and his jaw for 5 and 7-step drops.

Yup...Wunderkid didnt come through last night and neither did the players. But the staff didnt put the players in best position to win eitherLook, this game started with Cousins fumbling - I didnt even agree with winning the coin toss and NOT going on Defense first.
Belichek is going to look at those Pollard runs and then at the LT for the Vikings and hit those hard on Thursday.
The purple better bounce back quick or they'll be 8/3 at the blink of an eye with a rough schedule ahead.

Yep. I put this one more on the coaches failure to adjust than on Kirk, but Jimmy is right. Kirk is similar Eli Manning in the pocket. Given time he can make every throw. Without it? We’re toast. Coaches need to figure something out in a hurry before Thursday. Maybe more rollouts? Not sure what the answer is but Ingram getting bull rushed and Kirk trying to take long dropbacks with only Dalvin to pick up a rushing DT is not the solution.

there were so many yesterday its hard to keep track, but it was an obvious passing situation (down and distance) and KOC ( or possibly KC checked into it) called a play action pass... our OL was getting absolutely obliterated on every pass play and in an obvious passing situation they ran a play action pass which takes more time to get the ball out, but it also puts Kirks back to the pass rush... man I about flipped shit, but at that point I was like... why not.and is that 2 games in a row where our O is flailing and we get the ball deep in our own territory inside of 2 minutes and KOC thinks it would be a good time to use his time outs? Our O hadnt done a damn thing to merit confidence and coach once again uses timeouts to save clock only to punt the ball away and have the opposing team drive the field on our time and put up points? Pretty sure thats how the bills got their TD right before half last week and the gurls got 3 yesterday. at some point you have to look at the situation and not just what conventional wisdom is... when shit isnt going good, just get to half time.... you dont give up points at half time, Cousins doesnt get sacked at half time, but you might just find a way to fix those things if you arent to far behind when you get there.
Most annoying part— and there were MANY— is that I consider Mike McCarthy a borderline nincompoop. So to get turned inside out by that guy makes me scared of what Belicheck might have for us.
I opened up the app and saw the score and didn't bother watching any highlights. Funny thing, there was only one highlight on the Viking app, it was of a JJ catch. That was it.
The Cowboys D knew what we were trying to do, & they have the personnel to stop it. That D has superbowl capabilities imo…
The Cowboys have built a defense that should terrify the rest of the NFLDan Quinn has built one of the NFL’s best defenses.
While that was evident before Sunday, that defense was on full display in the Dallas Cowboys’ blowout victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
note: good read on how they handled our O yesterday. :s

some yes, but some are him holding the ball, standing in one spot, and just waiting for something bad to happen. when you have your back up LT in the game, getting no help, and you drop back 5 to 7 yards and then set up and hold the ball.... you kind of have to know thats not likely to end well and should be looking to get the ball out right away or be looking to take evasive action. the oline is not great, but Kirk does them no favors with the way he holds the ball and doesnt move around in the pocket.
