Biggest difference? Clock Management
I watched as the clock ticked today...as our Vikings were holding on to a a tie-game entrusting their kicker to give them a 2 point lead.
The biggest difference in recent years to this year's KOC-coached team?
IMHO, it's clock-management.
I remember Jared Allen quoted after we lost in a game that "we" all thought we should have won.
"Hey, it's the NFL...everyone is good"
I dont disagree...I view clock mgmnt as one important way to be a situational master.
That bigger umbrella to me is the biggest difference vs previous regime.
That and maybe (just maybe) there is a nod to culture change that we need to acknowledge. That starts with KAM and trickles to coaches then players.
