Thursday Night Football
I'm not a fan of short recovery weeks in a high contact sport like football anyways and I think it effects the product on the field a majority of the time...but this Thursday night streaming service through Amazon is total crap. It's pixilated every week and spotty. I'm guessing because it's a live event, but does anybody else have this problem with the streaming? Just curious
No issues with the stream but this game is a steaming pile.
I've had Amazon prime streaming for several years and always have an excellent picture. Game stream looks great on my tv but the game itself is a steaming pile as VG stated.
If the Thursday night had a match up of 2 teams both coming off their " BYE " a lotta problems would go away.I don't see who'd complain, or why.
Amazon paid $13 billion over 11 years for Thursday Night Football. that's $1.18 billion per year. and there are 15 TNF games per year. long story short they paid about $78 million to broadcast this Colts-Broncos game

My streaming was fine but that game was horrid.
Picture looks great on my TV, but Russ looks a little washed. Lots of trade capital given up by Denver.....yikes.

I didn't watch the game as there was a more compelling painted wall I wanted to watch dry. But I saw the highlights this morning. Brutal.
I really thought Wilson could be the missing link to this team, but they are so far out of sync.

He wasn't the prototypical running QB, but his game has always been of a tarkenton variety where he runs around to create the pass, his legs are going and despite having arm talent it relied on the other part to make his game work. This and he has just turned into a weird fuckin dude, makes me wonder if he's read to many of his press clippings or if he's gotten in some other shit that is screwing with his head.

No, Russ has always been off. The media has overhyped his leadership, as he's got a lot of former teammate detractors that are becoming pretty vocal. Right now, that trade and contract for him look horrible....and one that could bind the Broncos in shit for years. Still a smidge early to stamp it 100% anything yet, but early returns are dog shit.

Nah...not buying that. Dude's only 33 years old. No amount of sacks would wash him by then. Everyone seems to keep forcing weird, personal narratives onto this, especially here in Denver, but I just don't think it's that complicated.I think the head coach, the OC and Russ are WAY out of sync. All of them are making bizarre decisions. It's interesting that their passing game coordinator is Klint Kubiak. At some point they'll fix it. May not be this year though.
LOL.

Me, last year: “I think the Vikings let a really good GM get away in George Paton.”

Me, right now: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA man did the #Vikings dodge a bullet.
How is Wilson this shitty?
That INT was identical to his Super Bowl INT vs Pat's. Prior to that he misses a WIDE, WIDE open WR for a TD.
The hell is going on in his head?
But Kirk sucks!!!
Did Seattle know something we dont? Wilson is terrible. Maybe this will go down as the second worst trade in NFL history?
Part of me thinks Wilson is trying too hard to show that he's the guy on a new team and he's pressing... but he also doesn't look like the same player as he did in Seattle prior to last year. Hard to tell if it's coaching, lack of chemistry, the QB... Or a combination of it all.
Definitely not the results that the Broncos expected when they hired Hackett and traded for Wilson. That said, it's only 5 games into the season. If Russ, Hackett, and the offense start clicking, it could change the narrative quickly because that Broncos defense is legit.

Yes, I do believe they did. I've thought Wilson has been declining for the past two seasons, actually. Seahawks aren't missing him one bit.
Like others in the thread have said: it’s early, he’s only 33, etc but sheesh. Russ looks real washed to my eyes. I’ve lost 4 bets this season across the league and half have been on Denver. They STINK.
The vaunted AFC West is looking like the softest division in football, outside of KC. The game last night was a disaster. Indy was practically on it’s hands and knees begging Denver to win the game and DEN didn’t do it. Wild. I kind of feel bad for the fans who were in attendance.
EDIT- My Amazon stream was mint. I am kind of a tech dork when it comes to that stuff so I play close attention, the bitrates and everything were better than most of my youtubetv streams for other games. Sorry to hear OP had issues, that’s always a drag.
FYI, I've never had even a bit of an issue with Amazon streaming of Thursday games. Bezoz and I are besties.
