The Darrisaw bandwagon has no room left

Darrisaw was so confident on Sunday, he'd leave his guy to help Ezra and then go back to his guy and push him out of the play. I haven't seen anything like it in a long time. That left side of the line is fun. pic.twitter.com/lR91tlQ0Qc

Pair of best young tackles in the league. If Cleveland and Ingram pan out to be above average, this will be a very good OL for a long time.
Love Darrisaw's play, you look at him and it feels like an immovable object.
I think CD proved enough last year that we could confidently say he was a "hit" as a draft pick and that we'd likely be OK there. That by itself was a big relief. But to be better than that--to have a star in the making--considering the 27-year-old Pro Bowler already in place on the other side, is just an enormous boost to the future of the franchise.
Have to imagine Raider fans are absolutely shattered by this...
Last year was not a waste. He missed so much time, but getting his feet wet, experiencing the pro game gave him the context to make huge strides in the first off-season.
You can see his confidence now. He's powerful and can move, he knows he can play well in this league.
It's awesome to see him thrive. Good OL news is always welcome
I really can't remember the last time I had confidence in the OL.
The Raiders WAIVED Leatherwood? LOL

I think the Bears claimed him off of waivers...
So..... who wants to be first to complain about the monster next contract that CD gets?
Ezra has been doing the same with CD, I've seen him pop his man then run over and bury the guy engaged with CD. O'Neill is good as well, but he has to battle his man harder and engage him longer than CD. CD plays with heavy hands. Ingram has similar ability, but at a level below. He's learning and his run game dynamic is very strong for a rookie. Seems Bradbury has stepped up, which is surprising to me but very welcomed.
Keep in mind: this is a very young O-line. Oldest 27 years old and Garrett just turned 27 in June. Very exciting potential.

Nah, I dont bitch about paying for quality OT play. There truly is no tree to pick that from. Unless he demands QB money and then we'll talk.

Even in 09 (even with Hutch) I didnt have that much confidence in em as a pass blocking group.
I think Bert made em look better than they were that year:
McKinney
Hutch
Sullivan
Herrera
Loadholt

Well in Adrian's hayday, the line certainly looked good as well for the run game.
As probably the strongest advocate on here pushing for us to draft Darrisaw I have a front row seat already. I was also a huge advocate for O'Neill when we drafted him..I guess the old saying is true "even a blind squirrel can find a tackle"? I won't mention the many misses only the hits :)

Definitely have to give you O'Neill though. He had a pretty uneven Senior Bowl in one-on-ones, and given that he was a TE just a couple years before, I thought his weight might have been a little fraudulent. But he's been terrific.
I just can't get over the idea that we might have TWO top tier tackles now. Even on our best OLs, it seems there was always one good one (Yary, Zimmerman) and one on the other side not quite on that level (Alderman, Irwin) or a pair who were not quite great (Steussie, Loady, Stringer, McKinnie). Assuming Darrisaw continues on this path, this really could be the best tackle tandem in Vikings history.
