Green Bay Tackles - out?
Reporting indicates that both GB tackles are out for the game. LT - Bakhtari is being replaced by an 3rd year UDFA - Nijman
RT - Jenkins is being replaced by 4th round 2021 pick and mullet champion Royce Newman.
Low and behold who can we bring around the edges - Hunter and Smith - Yikes.
GB is going to try and establish the run and screen game.
We elevated S - Dorn up from PS. It looks like Cine "zim-tweaked" his knee.
They are going to screen like machines.....D needs to step up. Get a lead early and force the Packers into obvious pass situations and release the hounds.

The rush to get them back at practice did seem a little wishful thinking. But wow, if Newman goes to RT that means a rookie will be playing RG and the Packers IOL is that much worse.
LT - Nigman. - PFF 63
RG - Runyan - PFF 65
C - Meyers - PFF 58
RG - Rhyan - Rookie 3rd round
RT - Newman - PFF 55 (at RG, no grade at RT)

Nothing major at all, according to Tom P....basically just missed too much practice time this week. Will be back for Week 2.
the refs will let the cheese hold all day

The Vikings need to go out there and just pound the points on the Packers. No more getting a lead and sitting on it. Bury the Packers, so there is no doubt about a victory...
Lazard and both starting tackles out is a big deal...
Maybe the under really is the play in Vegas today?
I still think the Vikes need to score 25 to win. Rogers is that good and our D is that much of an unknown.
GB playing without both OT's showed on the field.
Smith and Huntere both got sacks and Vikings led box to wire.
GB was never in the game.

Yep, and this is what a good team does in these instances: dominates. Viking's teams of yesterday would have barely won in the end or even lost.
IIRC, neither team got a holding penalty Sunday. Weird. Usually whenever the Vikings are trying to keep a 2nd half lead on the Packers ye olde phantom hold gets pulled out of the refs' hats.
