He doesn't have it. He's never going to have it. This forces the Vikings to draft a QB next year, I'm glad for it.

Mond has talent so this may come back to bite them. There’s a good reason young drafted QB’s get 4 years to develop with a team. The adjustment to the pro game can take time and it’s not at all uncommon for guys to not be ready start of year two having gotten so few reps. I also thought it was a mistake doing series switch outs in the preseason. I’d have preferred each getting a half. This would allow a guy to get some rhythm going.

This move will never come back to bite the Vikings. Period. JMO. You don't look like Mond has looked and make that monumental leap in the NFL.

Disappointed it didn't work out here, but not a big deal when it was a third round QB. Best to keep taking a swing though.
