He passed the first huge test IMO.  Harbaugh was the easy, sexy pick.  He's staying true to his word IMO and trusting the process.  I like the new RG FA signings.  Robbing the Packers of Zadarius is a huge get.  Really building some good foundation and plugging holes.  

Very curious to see how KAM's draft works compared to Rick moving back so often.

I'm hopeful.  I don't really have expected high or unexpected low.  Completely new staff.  Kirk could injure himself in training camp and we would be picking in the top 5 next year.  If Hunter AND Smith got injured early on, I doubt our D could hold up any better then last years.
I DO think that adding positivity back to the locker room is going to make a big difference.  Especially if you can get players buying in.  We have to remember, we were a few plays away from being a playoff team and a few more away from being one of the top seeds.  It literally came down to a handful of plays last year.

its an honest mistake,  like confusing me with Jimmy from San Diego.

To me he hasn't done anything Spielman wouldn't have. In fact it's been a very Spielman-esque offseason thus far. So the draft is going to be much more interesting as far as putting his own stamp on the team. Very curious to see how he plays things

Hey, I think I'm usually a fairly optimistic Vikings fan!  ;)

There's just one certain player that I haven't been on board with the past few years.

Time will tell. But he can't worry about fan opinion. Look at what New England did with their first round pick, took a guy that teams had 100 or deeper on their charts. The Rams coach and GM openly laughed at the Patriots selection. I'm not saying I personally loved what KAM did last night, but I also know we don't know anything yet until all picks are in and in about 3 years.

I can't believe the Vikings made this trade. When the Lions moved up from 32 to 12, I thought they gave up a future first-round pick for a receiver. I was ready to laugh at them, but then the details were revealed. For moving up 20 places, all the Lions did was trade down 12 spots in the second round and give up a third-round choice. That's insane value. Not only were the Vikings robbed in this trade; they gifted a superstar receiver to a divisional rival - one that they were incapable of covering at the moment!
