LSU LB Clark out for ’22 … Rising LSU ILB Damone Clark, one of the top 4-5 prospects at then position for the upcoming draft, will miss the 2022 season after underdoing spinal fusion surgery earlier today to repair a herniated disk. The issue was discovered during medical testing at last month’s combine. Clark, who had been considered to be a second day prospect, is is expected to make a full recovery, but his draft stock will likely take a significant hit, although he could end up being a steal by a patient team willing to use a later round pick on him.

Loved this kid's tenacity. Only LSU defender that came to play every down. Hope he recovers (and we take a flier).

Still want to kick somebody that we didn't take a flier on La'el Collins when he had his issues.  Could have had him for a 7th.   Now here we go again.  We don't have a 4th round pick, but if Clark slides to the 5th he could be grand larceny.
