Paints his fingernails and now a pink phone???!!! I wouldn't take this freak in the first 10 picks of the draft.

To clarify wearing nail polish and having a pink phone makes him a freak?  Everyone is free to express themselves in any way they choose, it does not change who they are and they certainly do not need to be labeled.  Isn't the great thing about our country is that we all have that freedom.  #tolerance #kindness #love #acceptance

I have watched almost every snap he has taken at USC, he is a generational talent and I would love to have him him on the team and could care less if he plays with polka dots on his helmet.

But I will say this: pink lip gloss?? C'mon now. That's ridiculous. And if I don't like it, I'm somehow the asshole? Listen, I wouldn't confront someone or say anything derogatory to his face, its his life and nobody deserves unsolicited negativity in this context, but I certainly am allowed my own thoughts.

I was thinking the same thing,  Chicago is a tough guy kind of town,  despite the cities political leanings I dont now how inclusive and open minded the teams fan base is going to be, especially  if things are shaky out of the gate.  Imagine the shit the cheeseheads would be talking his first trip to lamebeau.  it could get ugly in a hurry,  but of course winning cures most everything and if he is able to show the fans he wasnt a bust at 1... then they may line up to paint his toenails as they kiss his feet.

I understand what you are saying and its a bold new world out there. But many times you are going to judge, its human nature. The more exposed you are to differing styles and cultures, the less judgmental a person is IMO, but personally I don't care about the pink phone or the nail colors.....the pink lip gloss got me. Just me personally. But yeah, the board has some provincial thinking and confirmation bias for sure.

Not sure Kyle Brandt is going to open my eyes up about anything. But for me, I'm ok with a lot of stuff....but not everything. And here's the great part: Caleb Williams doesn't give two shits what StickyBun has to say about anything. And he shouldn't. And an important part: if he or anyone else were sitting next to me at an event or a restaurant, I wouldn't say a thing. He deserves to be out in the world, unmolested, without people telling them what they think. About anything. 

But guess what? I get to think whatever the hell it is that I want to think privately.

True and I agree, just as everyone should be free to be whatever they want to be, everyone also has the right to have their own beliefs.  I will say that living in LA as opposed to a previous smaller city, has exposed me to so many various types of individuals and lifestyles and the more you experience things from someone's else's view the more it does open you up to appreciating and respecting the way they are.  It is really a wonderful feeling to be able to see others who are completely different than you, some who without the knowledge of knowing them you would have had inaccurate negative beliefs about and to be able to truly see them, appreciate them and respect them.  I spent some time with a friend recently from my home town who made a pretty judgmental comment about someone being gay and I thought to myself that I may be likely to share his view without my experiences and so grateful that my mind and heart are so much more expansive than they use to be.

A very good thought and a very positive way to be. I applaud the sentiment.
