Truly a master musician. My band is covering Pretzel Logic, now we'll be playing it as a tribute :(
Grew up on them as well and remain a huge fan, I've probably seen them 10 times in the last 10 years, including last April in Vegas. Becker didn't make the recent stadium shows due to unspecified illness and it got me wondering if it was serious. I guess it was. Sad to hear this though glad to hear that Fagen intends to continue doing solo shows with the band they'd assembled. RIP Walter.
Sad as hell about this, Steely Dan were part of my steady diet of 70's rock that continues today. I'm glad I got to see them live after they got back together, and I still can't name a band that did more of whatever they hell they wanted.
