Zim was not happy in that post-practice interview.
"They didn't practice very good today. They have to do a lot better than they did today... We had a lot of mistakes today. Incomplete passes, giving up sacks... Defense is giving up plays to lose the game. Things like that."

DEFENSE:
- Nick Vigil looks very comfortable in coverage
- Breeland plays like a savvy vet
- DJ Wonnum is a guy to watch
- James Lynch looks beefy and could be nice as a backup NT
- Patrick Peterson’s feet and hips are so damn nice

- ISM impressed with dbl move speed
- Whop Philyor showed off body control
- Zach Davidson nice footwork in/out of breaks
- Thielen still slippery smooth routes
- JJ... BEAST

He started all 4 years at Washingt and won 39 starts, the most ever by a Pac-12 QB. Going undrafted/being on Minnesota's practice squad the last 2 years was a different experience for someone used to playing a ton.Replying toBrowning: "Having some success then going undrafted – it definitely makes you look in the mirror and be like, alright, I went undrafted for a reason. What do I need to get better at? ...
