@"Kentis" said: Going young w/ 11 rookies...These rookies can actually play though... Dalvin, Elflein, and Gedeon are starters and I would be surprised if Jaleel Johnson isn't starting by the second half of the season. Bower looks like a future starter and Wilson will be a special teams demon. Aviante Collins is super athletic and could be an answer at OT. Isidora has turned a bunch of heads at RG...
Very strong draft class and group of UDFAs...

I think that's the most encouraging part is the number of starters and future starters. Definitely a positive to build on.
Thought Edmond Robinson had showed enough. Is the PS now selected from this group? Do you have any rights to them or are they like unrestricted FAs.

Damn... The offense has me so pissed off I must be losing my mojo.
Thanks for getting me centered, bud.
BOOM
Wow. Lots of surprises IMO. What happened to heinke and datone Jones? Offensive line is young

Don't like the LB corps at all. We have to do better than Brothers and Lamur. This is going to be a problem area.

yes they are unrestricted. hopefully we csn keep several on the PS
Aviante Collins should be a good one down the road. I liked what I saw in pre-season. He is a G/T prospect, but he can play left OT which really makes him valuable.
Why is Ham still there? His only possible value to me is to get cut when Floyd gets back. Which probably means they'll cut Coley instead (imagine rolling eyes here)
I'll admit I didn't watch and re-watch the preseason like I normally would, but did Collins show anything to warrant a roster spot?
I have no idea what Lamur did to warrant his...playing vs 2s and 3s he should have shown tons more...
Hoping Jaleel unseats Tom before too long...I think he's a huge liability vs the run...
Damn glad Bower made the team...wonder if he gets a legit jersey number now...arrow pointing way up one this guy...
Wish we had gone after Ward...S play behind the starters is bad...maybe scary bad...
Glad Boone was shown the door...I'll miss his sound bites but that's all...
almost like starting over for how young we are. but dang, a ton of young talent (year 3 and under) if it develops correctly, rick drafts like this again, and either sleeves, teddy, or a new QB can take charge, suddenly we are a special team for several years.
If it is a start over it will be more like 2015. In 2014 we had the strike so a lot of holdover from Frazier's roster. Last year injuries had a lot of impact on the roster . Grabbing at straws here, you know try to gin up some purple optimism. I don't have a lot of expectations for this team, one way or another. Not a lot of drama with this years team, could be that this staff cant maintain enthusiasm week after week.
