The #Vikings agreed to terms former #Ravens DT Michael Pierce on a 3-year deal worth $27M, source said, with a max of $28M. He gets $18M guaranteed and is back in free agency at 30.

Seems like a good move and eliminates a dire need on draft day.
Ravens forums seem to indicate he's a good player. Down year last year when he was overweight so hopefully our coaches can clean that up. One reddit post said if he gets back to 2018 form, he'll be the "steal of the offseason". He's only 27 so it's definitely possible.

Yeah, good comparison.  I like the way he uses his hands and sheds in those clips.  Moves pretty well too.

in every loss last year our dline was being moved off the line of scrimmage. You have to stop the run first. I am all for a beefy End to replace Ev if he doesnt contain his price. 99 from atlanta could be a decent signing

(I live in a chocolate city, but that's the best I got.  :) .)

Love the signing.  Takes a UT off the "must need" at 1st round.  Could use another, for rotation/future.  

Pedigree from small-school Samford.  Small, but southern...from wherest I want my nasty ballers.  It's in our blood.

Looking at the list of FA's, I figured he was way out of reach to even consider.  Brz is a magician? 

Thankfully, Baltimore signed Brockers (nee Rams) yesterday....and  that made Pierce expendable, as they re-signed their own DT Justin Ellis, as well. 
Ravens were loaded on DL, to our gain.

Bruiser with super low center of gravity. Almost impossible to move. I do like that some FA signings come out of the blue with no warning, I mean nobody saw this coming and it fills a big need.
